I rented this through Gamefly last week, it's fun cause I never played the previous LEGO games. I gotta say this review is on point.

I think the game is amazingly fun. I have played Lego Indy, the original trilogy, the complete saga, and now Batman, and am still hooked on all 3. I hope they make something more. Spiderman and X-men would be fun, in the relm of comic recreates. Here's to hoping.

This game gets tedious fast. I used to be a big fan of the Lego games. However, the cut scenes where were once a highlight are insipid sight gags in Lego Batman and I am getting burned out on the game play.

I would recommend even the most ardent fan of Lego games only rent this one. Hopefully, Traveler's tales does something new for their next outing that will revive this tired formula.

Who the hell is David Craddock? I checked your profile, and you've only written 5 articles, and I've never heard of you from the Fancast guys. Did I miss the mention? If so, I apologize for my rude comment.
If not, get on an episode and introduce yourself.

the game is great...I have done 70% of it on the PS3 version. The game is a must have if you like the Lego formula. This one was done very well. It's still the same formula and aside from the gameplay hiccups that have been there since the first lego star wars game, it's still fun. I'd love to see them do more of these! I have yet to play Lego Indy but I was never a big Indiana Jones fan, I do still plan to get it though. My only complaint with Lego Batman is that it was quite short. Still fun though and going back and finding all the secret stuff is even more fun!

Great Review David! I loved the original Star Wars Lego game and while the formula works (for Indy and now Batman), it all taste the same and I just don't need another helping until they spice things up a little or even change the recipe all together.

I picked up the Indy game and had some fun with it, but the lack of online play is just terrible. Isn't this the same engine that ran the Star Wars Lego games, which I believe included online play?
