Using poll information gathered from Gearheads this past February, GearsofWar.com just posted a new top five video, where they count down the top five Locust types as chosen by fans. The video (conveniently embedded above) is voiced by the one and only Damon Baird and starts off the top five countdown fun with those "dumb" Boomers. We won't spoil the countdown by telling you anymore, but we will say it's nice to see vintage clips of the original Gears. And for the record, it's more than apparent that Gears 2 is no Gears 1.5 ... just saying.

Just by watching this, you can tell how Gears 2 has much better lighting and textures. Bring on November, cuz i cant wait for the GOTY!

This was b.s. Gears of War isn't about narration with a few terrible puns to spruce things up; it's about shooting stuff up and cussin' up a storm! Baird sounded very stupid (wetaded?) in this vid. I'm disappointed.

Just letting you guys know that Xbox 360 Fanboy is being renamed Gears 2 Fanboy on Monday. Hope there isn't too much confusion in the changeover.

I just don't understand why this news is being posted now. I watched that video on gearsofwar.com right after they revamped the site at E3. This video is old.

This is wrong, Theron Guards should be second. Though it seems all the footage was taken on casual so I guess they wouldn't have given instant death with near-perfect accuracy there. They are so fucking annoying on insane.
