I think all these Rock Band updates needs it's own tab.
Features Xbox 360 Wii PS3 PSP DS PC Mac PS2 Galleries Rock Band
Or maybe www.joystiq-rockband.com so people can see their website updated hourly with Rock Band news.
Haggard (Mr.ESC died for our sins) @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:25PM
I find out DLC from Joystiq since the EU rock band store doesn't have a 'new releases' section yet, and the rock-band-weekly tag is pretty useful for me to see what I've missed (having a years worth available to you all in one go makes it pretty hard to organise).
So I disagree with your anarchic anti-Rock Band news outlook.

Guy on the left looks like a cross between Ben Stiller and Seth Green.
RavenPaul @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:04PM
I appreciate the varied bands instead of the full album DLC junk, but I'll pass on all of these. Still waiting for more Nirvana:Nevermind, Pearl Jam:Ten and RAMMSTEIN!
Jakka(A tribute to whose who fought and failed during the Epic Flamewar of L.A. Noir and MR.ESC) @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:12PM
Good luck waiting for Nirvana....

Just out of curiosity, why do you say that Jaffa?
Odog4ever @ Oct 3rd 2008 7:21PM
Seriously Harmonix. Stop trying to hold "Smells like teen spirit" for Rock Band 3.
tr1cky tpr @ Oct 4th 2008 5:53AM
Nevermind. Isn't. Coming. It was a r-u-m-o-u-r.
Ben Forbes @ Oct 28th 2008 4:30PM
Oh, might I add? Fail.
MowDownJoe @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:04PM
B-B-B-BAD TO THE BONE!
Now if only I had money to buy RB2, transfer my RB1 songs, and buy some of the awesome DLC that's been passing through.
Chris Are @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:07PM
Haha, the offspring.

You were saying zuburi?
I spose you'd say the same about the stones or aerosmith too?
Go back to whatever shitty music it is you listen to you goddamn insolent little snot eating teen.
aj @ Oct 4th 2008 12:46AM
Sam, have you actually heard the new Offspring album?
GunForHire @ Oct 4th 2008 9:23AM
Screw you buddy, when you've had anywhere near as much success or acclaim as the Offspring have, you can speak. Go back to Fall Out Boy or whatever flimsy crap you listen to.
The guy's hard enough to own and fly his own fighter jet!
As for the new Offspring album, it rules, with the exception of 2 tracks. But where is The Kids Aren't Alright and All I Want?
J.Goodwin @ Oct 4th 2008 10:23AM
Wait, being a millionaire makes you more Rock n' Roll than other people?
Fuck, now I can support this 700 billion dollar Wall Street Bailout. Thanks for letting me know that my money is going to support Fuckin' Rock. Hard Rock. YEAAAH BABY!
zuburi @ Oct 4th 2008 7:05PM
Something tells me I'm probably older than you are - while I'm not "old" by any means, I'm nearing an age where it begins to get harder and harder to say.
And if the Stones or Aerosmith tried looking all badass and Hot Topic, you bet your ass I'd laugh at them, too.
Sam @ Oct 5th 2008 12:03AM
You're aware that The Offspring have styled themselves in that way long before the disgusting little shop for tweens known as hot topic even existed yes? Nevermind long before the franchise became a household name synonymous with whiny children with stupid haircuts.
By the post you just made, no, i dont think you are older than me.
If you are then you're just pathetically ignorant and stupid.
Fact of the matter is, The Offspring ARE as "hard" (if i really must use that term) as any other band out there, and they've earned the right to look a little badass when they're being photographed.
(Also what exactly were you expecting from a punk-rock band posing for a photoshoot other than at least a little bit of "looking hard"? Cupcakes, puppies and oven mittens? Idiot.)
ill trooper @ Oct 5th 2008 1:36PM
Listen to Agent Orange instead of Offspring; that's where their sound came from and there's no stupid missteps like 'Pretty Fly for a White Guy.'
Chase @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:20PM
Harvey Danger made music other than "Flagpole Sitta"? Who knew?
muddyhelmit @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:57PM
I've been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding!
Chase @ Oct 3rd 2008 7:32PM
At this point, I wait for a Marcy Playground track pack.
Munky @ Oct 3rd 2008 8:22PM
I for one would welcome the Marcy Playground pack. I also want to see the Placebo pack. That would be awesome.
David @ Oct 4th 2008 4:57AM
I wish I had Rock Band now -- like I didn't already. That song's from HD's most recent album, Little By Little, and the whole disc is REALLY, REALLY good -- way more mellow than Flagpole Sitta, for the most part, very chill ("Cream and Bastards" is one of the only heavy songs on the album). It's also free, so, you know, don't take my word for it. harveydanger.com to download.
Ben Forbes @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:20PM
Could you guys not get the original videos for the Offspring's tracks, rather than poor-quality shakycam gig footage? Keep up the updates though, really useful thing you got going here :)
Haggard (Mr.ESC died for our sins) @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:54PM
And one of the videos of the 6 non-offpsring bands doesn't work.
Haggard (Mr.ESC died for our sins) @ Oct 3rd 2008 7:54PM
Ah, it was "Stop!", only viewable in the US apparently.
Heh (Mr. ESC, living in the hearts of us all) @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:22PM
So I see some of the rumoured free DLC is here.
Does this mean we really still have no idea what that free DLC will be?
Kizzle @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:24PM
Yeah. I have a feeling some testers leaked that 20 song list, not realizing it was actually just DLC. So yeah, the list was accurate, but the intent of that list obviously wasn't clear.

I like STATIC-X and all, but I kinda wish they had their own song pack... with "Dirthouse", "Wisconsin Death Trip", or possibly even "Fix".
Tuna Fish Truck Driver Banana Mix. LoL
Ignatius @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:25PM
Where's "All I Want"? Damnit. That's an instant buy for me.
seifer @ Oct 3rd 2008 7:08PM
I can't listen to that song while driving any more; the urge to start going 20 miles over the speed limit and trying to cut between cars becomes too strong. Thanks a lot, Crazy Taxi.
Simon @ Oct 3rd 2008 6:25PM
Yay for some Harvey Danger love, Cream and Bastards is great, but no Flagpole Sitta?
Who can resist singing to that?
willie @ Oct 3rd 2008 7:18PM
YESSS AGAINST ME!!
freakin' awesome!
ditto to that ballin' screaming trees track.
aj @ Oct 4th 2008 12:44AM
I agree that Against Me! is awesome. "Stop" is probably their worst song, but it's still awesome.
(I like to brag that my hometown is about an hour north of Gainesville, FL, and I listened to Against Me! when they were just some kids in a band that were pretty good, now they're on the TV.)
David @ Oct 4th 2008 12:20PM
Fuckin' right, Against Me! New Wave is damn good, but nothing is going to top As The Eternal Cowboy. I saw them live 4 years ago in a small club playing songs like "Rice and Bread" and "Turn Those Clapping Hands Into Angry Balled Fists." So kickass.
Zoesch @ Oct 4th 2008 1:07PM
Yeah those are the only two tracks that interest me, I Nearly Lost You is a fucking awesome song, and Against Me! is fucking awesome... if they managed to get Screaming Trees in maybe they'll work to get Paw or Tad next.
J.Goodwin @ Oct 3rd 2008 7:32PM
Screaming Trees, nice.
Angry Salad?
Chance @ Oct 3rd 2008 8:03PM
Nearly Lost You is an instant buy. More grunge please! Mudhoney is a must, Tad would be amazing as well.
Jeepers Creepers 712 @ Oct 3rd 2008 8:40PM
Wow. I'm super stoked for this upcoming week. Static X is awesome, and Gone Away/Self Esteem by Offspring is nice. Wish they'd put out The Kids Aren't Alright and I'd be happy.
Can't wait for the rest of the rumored 'free' DLC to hit the RB store. Pennywise will be a very nice addiction to my RB collection.
jason @ Oct 3rd 2008 11:33PM
Am I the only one here that is happy to see a Static X track on here?? Not only that, its a track from their first album, not their current! Yay Harmonix!
INCH75 Vocals @ Oct 4th 2008 3:06AM
Wisconsin Death Trip was a killer album, and is what got me through my deployment to the middle east.
lee williamson @ Oct 4th 2008 5:11AM
yippie will be buyin all 3 offspring :) about time , might get all right now as well :)
JohnHeist @ Oct 4th 2008 6:08AM
SWEET.
Gone Away is my favorite Offspring song
Levi @ Oct 4th 2008 1:38PM
Awesome. Great Static-X, Against me and Screaming Trees songs. Good classic tune from Free also. Not too excited about George Thorogood. Never really cared about his music.
McWeen @ Oct 4th 2008 3:47PM
Push it featuring the Slim Jim guy.
longhairbilly @ Oct 4th 2008 4:12PM
Static-X.. Very nice.
OTAM @ Oct 4th 2008 6:17PM
Static X FTW motherfuckers!
Vcize @ Oct 4th 2008 7:55PM
Offspring! Gone Away is one of my favorite songs ever, sweet.
Why oh why can't Activision just suck less and get these songs on GH? (I know I know, I'm the minority here, don't hate).
