Had to do a double take when I saw that picture, the girl in the pink dress is identical to my character in AC:WW, hairstyle, face, and clothes.

Yes... it is sad how little has changed with this game. I was hoping for a considerable update and deeper online component.

I agree.
I thought I was looking at a screenshot of the first Animal Crossing for the gamecube.
I'm not dishing out $60 to play an expansion pack; I could even say a port; I don't care if it has voice chatting or not.
