OK, video game publishers, we know we said we weren't complaining about the torrent of new releases last month, but now, we totally are. Do you know how long this features takes to write now? Do you know how broke we're going to be by month's end? (Answer key: Too long; very.)

Fallout, Dead Space and Fable 2 are the only ones I feel the need to get sooner rather than later.

My by now list:
PS3: LBP, Motorstorm, and Socom (long time fan and wanting the headset)
PC: Fallout and Far Cry
360: Dead Space and Fable 2
Others like Spider-man etc I'll pick up used a few months down the road.

Getting SOCOM for me, and LittleBigPlanet to play with my gf and maybe friends. It's a sweet month for gaming and glad I own a PS3. Will also check out FarCry 2 and Fallout 3 but not right away.

Any reason behind the Dead Space for 360 over PS3? No multiplayer so it cant be that. Just curious as I am wrestling over which system to get it on.

I've completely failed at finding a job this year, and this slew of excellent releases certainly isn't helping.
Ah well, at least I'll have a good time bankrupting myself.

So what's your gaming loadout for this term? Personally, I'm gonna drop GoW2 and Far Cry 2 along with the remaining hits in favour of Fable 2 and Fallout 3.

Your certainly going to get a lot more playtime out of those 2. Certainly makes the purchase seem more worthwhile.
Im not convinced the gears 2 multiplayer will be better, onslaught sounds awesome though.

Im buying Fable 2 and Red Alert 3.
Im renting Blitz, Deadspace, Fallout and Saints Row.
Im a sucker for Red Alert, and Fallout will come out with a GOTY version with every piece of DLC on it for free so Ill wait for that version to buy.

I'm glad I'm back and I'm glad I'm back to work again.I'll save the details but between my trip to Canada and the U.S (First class FTW) plus this last weekend (Capuchin machine, Popcorn machine, Books, DVDs etc) I burned almost all my cash.
I can't wait for Fallout I pre-order the LE edition.
I'm disappointed that not even in the U.S or Canada I could find a single rare videogame and the employee at one EB games in Seattle tried to rip me off charging me 60$ for TF2.I hope that guy gets raeped in the nostrils.
Now that I’m back I just found out that a new Videogame store chain opened and they have sweet stuff like a NES for 30$ and the second Legend of Zelda game in its original case for 20$ (Used obviously).I finally bought (Used) Oddworld Munch Oddyssey for 5$ and Silent Hill 5.

I wouldn't try an EB or Gamestop here for a rare game next time. We have some retro gaming chains that usually are better for that kind of thing.

I've had the worst luck of my life finding a job this year, but at least cheapassgamer.com is helping some.
This month I hope to get socom/deadspace/farcry2/fable2/fallout3/lbp and saints row 2 i'll get for free through this deal (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/?f=437)
I might end up selling it to help me get gears 2/left4dead next month (resistance 2 and cod: wow can wait i guess)

I was psyched to play farcry 2, but i'll wait for reviews to see whether or not it's too repetitive. I might hold off on Castlevania, something i haven't done in a long time after the disappointment that Portrait of Ruin was.

Well , I don't like games that have extreme violence , or gore .
So I'll pick Red Alert 3 (I love RTS) , other than that I will have to think about getting LBP , and will want to see some reviews for Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 .
and i'll wait a bit before LBP .
Of course if I had a 360 I would buy Fable 2 , but I didn't buy a 360 yet because the only games that would make me buy it (Fable 2 and Halo 3 ) mightout on PC later. ( Fable TLC and Halo 2 for Vista)

LOTS of games I want. But depending on time, how much I am finished with the games I have (considering my xbox will finally be back by the end of the week), and money, the one game I will knock over toddlers for is Fallout 3 (PC).
Note: I wouldn't actually knock over toddlers no matter the level of hilarity.

Does anyone know if there is going to be a PS3/LBP bundle? I'm too lazy to look it up. LBP is the first game that's really tempted to me to invest in a PS3. Although with all the other games I'm planning to pick up (Dead Space, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Gears 2, and Banjo), I may just wait until the after holiday lull. Maybe the PS3 will drop in price too.

there is a LBP/PS3 bundle in Europe. not sure if its coming stateside though. i remember it has the new BC-less 80GB in it.
and i forgot all about Banjo this month too. just ordered a 360 so i may get that and Fable 2 depending on time and money after LBP (and eventually Resistance 2).
