So we might just get a chance at a good NFS game again? I can only hope - hot pursuit was one of my favorites, and it's about time NFS got back to that side of the franchise again.

By the way - I couldn't possibly be the only here who absolutely hates GameTrailers... slow buffering, usually a huge intro section just showing lame GT art, and a crummy player in general. I just have to rant about it.

I hate it also.

Not totally sold on the game, though - it just doesn't look quite up to snuff, and given recent NFS experience...it seems best to wait for the metareview to actually get excited.

Hmmmm, I don't know. Still NEEDS some work. For me, NFS High Stakes was the best and so thats essentially what I'll be comparing this to.

After playing tons of GTA IV, it really seems like these cars are taking turns at like 80 mph. Any one else see this?

Just because it was realistic doesn't mean it was bad.

Seriously? I got the knack of the driving in GTA4 in about 10 minutes, and I think it's really the strongest driving game in the series.

Saying GTA IV's driving is the strongest in the series is like saying my crap smells better then yours... It is still crap.

And far from "realistic" unless all you drive is soapbox racers.

Kinda boring to be honest.

I dunno NFS is no longer as good as it used to be. I thought ProStreet would be awesome and I sorta liked the demo but the reviews had me very worried and I ultimately decided not to get it.

I would really like to get back into a racing game but so far none of the series or upcoming games have really caught my eye.

Except GRID and that didn't have enough cars and other features like these other games.

Just "Most Wanted" with a new coat of paint ? Well, considering I reached 99% complete on that one and still play it 3 years after it was released, I would say that's a good thing. I mean, really, you can only do so much with a racing game.

I loved NFSMW. A return to that game from the declines that were Carbon and ProStreet would be great.

"Additionally, the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions will also support up to eight players in sprint and circuit multiplayer races as well."

For the love of crap, Joystique. It's bad enough that everybody uses 'also' and 'as well' in one sentence when they only need one or 'tother, but cramming 'additionally' in there too? English does not need double redundancy. Let's try this again, shall we?

The Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions will also support up to eight players in sprint and circuit multiplayer races.

The simplicity! The elegance! I'm gonna go eat some pudding!

Thats funny, double redundancy although repetitive at times is funny.

Hopefully NFS will go back to the old way of doing things. But where are the old maps, I want some remakes. EA can rehash the same old Maddan crap but they can't redo some oldies? lame

Additionally, I'd like to add that I enjoyed Most Wanted so if this is also like MW but better then I'll like it as well.

This just upped the ante for me. I love NFS games. NFSMW was my fave. I still have Carbon sitting on my shelf waiting to be played though.

I will definitely be picking this game up in the future though!

Come on! NFS Most Wanted was one of the best racing game I have ever played! I have played it through three or four times, so if Undercover is remotely better than Most Wanted then thats AWESOME!!!!

Very cool, online pursuit(like the old days)!! with teams. But, I fear, they are still leaving out the ability to chose which room you race in, or who you race with. This eliminates a lof of online league possibilities. Hopefully, theyll put the race lobby system in other sections of online racing.
