D'oh, nice work! And yes, 1986 was indeed the year of the Arkanoid. I remember it well. That's what I get for trying to fly through a post when news is dropping from Tokyo. Di-zamn!

It's bad enough trying to do moves in Hyper Fighting; I can't imagine trying to pull off supers in KoF with the horrendous 360 dpad. I wouldn't even bother playing my favorite team in KoF98 (the boss team)...the utter lack of pulling off their supers (especially Geese's) would make me cry.

I can't imagine playing effectively as Goenitz on a 360 controller, it already completely killed my Genjuro game in SamSho II. I really hope we get a decent arcade stick sometime soon, and further, I really hope XBLA devs start allowing custom control schemes!

Indeed. Paddle games in general suck with any kind of other scheme - just look at tempest on 360 XBLA. Wow, that sucks.

Not true. I've played Arkanoid clones on everything from the keyboard to the cell phone, and Arkanoid always kicks ass.
