I could have swore the date given at E3 was March 13, or maybe that's just the North American date.

But they just told us March 12th... maybe that's the worldwide release date, which due to time zones, tides, the Earth spinning, vortexes, and Doctor Who means the 13th... who knows.

Since all 2009+ titles for Capcom are multiplatform from day 1, I'd say it's the same date.

The game is releasing in JAPAN on March 12th. You guys forget that this is the TOKYO game show. They announced during E3 that RE5 was street dated in the U.S. and Canada for, and I quote..."Friday, the 13th of March".
