Video: How Gears of War 2 does multiplayer
36
Team Epic just released yet another Gears of War 2 video featurette, this time the focus is on multiplayer. The video (currently exclusive to ESPN.com) is a pretty good look into the new multiplayer features, each multiplayer mode, the achievements and we also learn that Cliff's favorite trash talking phrase is "douche nozzle". Yup. Check out the vid and take it all in, because Gears 2 is less than a month away.
[Thanks, BAK6E]

How can the guy be saying douche nozzle and not want people to call him Cliffy B? douche nozzle is much for immature than Cliffy B, not saying that I wouldn't use it, but I am not telling people to not call me D Boy Flex. Game looks great though. As it gets closer, I wish Christmas would come a little sooner. Gotta wait till Christmas on this one, limited cash flow right now.

I must say though, this game looks freaking awesome. Avalanche does look good. I like it when the map is something more than a stationary place, but rather a place evolving right along with the match. Gears 1 had various maps like that in which one must navigate the map to avoid danger to oneself. Getting excited. Oh, and for the record, I canceled another preorder so I can get this on launch day instead. Sorry PM.

holy crap. That's the first I've heard of the Avalanche map. Awesome! Really looking forward to this.

We don't need this overhyping train of garbage to tell us that if you enjoyed the MP experience in Gears of War, then you're going to love it in Gear of War 2.
They upgraded the visuals like they always do for sequels and added a few different game types (Meat-Flag). Whoop-de-freakin'-do.
And what's so great about Cliff again? He's become quite the annoyance.

What kind of comment is this? rofl..
This is like saying:
"If the first game is good, then we don't need to see gameplay, because we know exactly what to expect."
And no, they've vamped up just about everything.. ranging from exploding geography to the way a head explodes and how much blood and brains is produced.
Quit flaming 360 news.. as I've looked through your comments and none of them are positive towards the 360. Yes that's right, I'm a stalker.. be afraid. (lolz)
Actually.. from reading your comments.. anything not PS3 related is horrible.

Well I apologize then. Sorry if the only information I've personally seen on Gears 2 are those Developer Commentary videos that only go on to say how they make the sound of their guns sound more realistic.
Just list everything they've added for me. That'll solve everything.
And actually having a video game news stalker has its benefits. Stalk on.

Douchenozzle is a Patton Oswalt line. Check out the Comedians of Comedy. Killer series. Anyway, this little spot just got me excited. I'm gonna buy this game DAY1.

Halo maps have always been too pristine for my tastes. These maps look used and abused...perfect!

i really hope multiplayer doesn't turn into a shot-gun dance with some turtleing here and there. maybe i was playing it wrong the first time...but the campaign is really what i'm looking forward to!

Stopping power!? That really disappoints me. This is one of the 2 reasons why Turok was almost unplayable.

Should have named the achievement, "Why so Serious?"

Cliff is a tool, the more I hear him talk, the more evident it becomes.
