If a recently uploaded video (which you can find after the break) is any indication, you'll be taking on the task of "female streaking" in Saint's Row II, which is sure to make all of our lives very annoying for weeks to come, or as soon as the mainstream media sees it. It's not really SFW, even though the lady business has been blurred out, giving the appearance that a giant Barbie doll became sentient and horrifically confused.
But before you hop over the break to bask in utterly non-erotic semi-nudity, we'd ask you to reconsider. You're better than that, right? We're honestly a little embarrassed we brought it up. You wouldn't want your mom, girlfriend or, heck, even your friends who've seen actual boobs before to catch you watching something like that, would you? Why don't you just scroll down to the next post, dignity intact? Or, to put it more simply ... "Don't look, Ethel!"
I think that was the whole reason for this shift into "lowest common denominator" town. With GTAIV, the game shifted into a grittier, darker series. So, for SR to stand out, a shift was needed. Thus they include missions where you drive a sewage truck and spray feces all over pedestrians. I think it fits.
I loved the "insurance fraud" part of Saints Row 1. This really dumb though. A serious nose-dive. Face-sitting a defeated opponent has taken on a whole new spin.
For those complaining about the animations - The player character is fully customisable, including animations. The guy playing it has clearly just given his character a silly run.
Why should it be that the game industry has to treat itself differently than the movies(Disaster Movie)/music(Mainstream Rap)/tv(Drawn Together) industry? There will always be giant turds who will protest about things that they don't approve of. I think if the game industry should ask for respect, it should release a diverse array of games feeding a wide quality of high and low tastes.
Besides, they will still target GTAIV, Gears of War 2 (for its blood), and possibly Fable II or Fallout 3 depending on what you can actually do in the final product. In the end, it isn't going to matter necessarily if Saints Row 2 is released or not, they will find something to target.
the first time i saw this, it looked like there was some extra blurring that only occurred in the front and seemed to "sway" back and forth when "she" turned. for all you trying to fap to this, i hope that it wasnt a video glitch or my imagination.
Any Americans care to explain why, in an M-Rated game packed with profanity and the cold-blooded killing of innocent people and police officers, the non-sexual nudity is blurred?
