Dead Space Animated Comic: Issue 6
Another dollop of space horror has just gone live with the sixth issue/episode of the Dead Space animated comic, which you'll find right after the break. We don't want to spoil anything for you, so we'll say only that the colonists are under attack and s*** goes bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s.
This is the sixth issue we've posted about, so we're a little light on new things to say about them. ... Oh hey, we know: Are any of you old enough for this to remind you of something that might have been on Liquid Television or Kablaam? ... Nobody? Oh well. Enjoy the comic.

I never liked Winter Steele.
That Slow Bob short was cool, though.

good stuff

Liquid Television was fantastic. I wish another station would pick this idea up again. A place to have indie animators showing their stuff was great. I guess that's what the internet is for these days. Oh, well.
BTW These Dead Space animations are pretty good. The scripting and voice acting are excellent. Makes me have high hopes for the animated movie and the game.

These remind me of Reading Rainbow. Anyone else... no...

Oh God, I just spilled my coke reading your comment.
Thanks buddy.

Oh man, Kablaam...don't even get me started.
Kids today have absolute rubbish for TV shows.

Tell me about it, if the show isnt catering to the poorly drawn, wacky aesthetic of Ren and Stimpy... Its just bad. The Super heroes (Non famous ones), I will never forget the day i saw my son watching the CG, Action Man.
I almost threw up.

Awesome!
But wonder about the movie. If the movie continues from were the comic leaves off, I'm afraid there won't be much of the story left over for the movie to tell. Or perhaps the movie will re-tell the comic's story, I'd be happy with that. Just as long as the movie is not just a bunch of mindless running and shooting scenes (like the Alien vs Predator movie).

The trailer makes it look like it will recap the comics and more on from there. I can't wait!

The movie takes place on the Ishimura, if I remember correctly. The animated comics took place planetside.

Just gone live? FilePlanet.com has been hosting the sixth issue for a week now. They even packaged all the episodes int one long HD movie. BTW the FilePlanet videos are ALL uncut/uncensored.

These animated comics are so f'ing awesome.
They remind me of Paddington Bear from the early 80s, but way more bloody.
FemaleOrca @ Oct 9th 2008 3:30PM
"The Head" is still my all time favorite animated series (mini-series?). I am currently looking at the VHS as we speak.
WAP @ Oct 9th 2008 3:33PM
This episode should be the last one before the game is released, no?
finnith @ Oct 9th 2008 4:52PM
It did say "END" as the episode ended so yea.
