Diablo 3 playable at BlizzCon 2008

Our cohorts at WoW Insider just called to brag that, according to the official BlizzCon paperwork, Diablo 3 will be playable at demo stations this weekend. If you're one of the lucky ones to get through the ticketing process, we have a good feeling what line you'll be waiting in the longest. Stay tuned for more coverage from this weekend's Blizzard Extravaganza.

I'll second that jealousy. I wonder if a Starcraft 2 playable demo will be released to the public sometime soonish.

@Foetoid - Diablo 3 will be released before Starcraft 2, probably around September-November of next year. You won't see a playable demo for Starcraft 2 until 2010.

I seem to have missed the whole Diablo train.

Can someone sum up exactly why Diablo II was so great? I mean, I downloaded it a few years back and it seemed to be a dungeon crawl but nothing spectacular....

Diablo 2 was just a great game at the time and people who used to play it still think its an awesome ass game, but obviously if you didnt play it when it came out and just playing it now, its going to be dated.

I'm happily looking forward to diablo 3

I played this game already. It was called Diablo 2. Thanks Blizzard for giving me an updated version of something that i already played.

Oh boy! I can't wait for Star Craft 1.5. Oops, i mean Star Craft 2: More of the same edition. Yeah!

Um Starcraft 1.5...?
Starcraft came out about 11 years ago and your calling this one 1.5, ok did you not have your cup of tea this morning?
The graphics are completely renovated, new gameplay, new units, new story, and kick ass multiplayer.

I really don't get where D3 is D2 crap either, thats like saying the Xbox is the same as the 360. lol
