I quote myself from the Fire Emblem article just 30 minutes ago: "What's the hold-up, Marvelous?"

Well, that was fast.

With DB: Origins pushed back to sometime in December and development of A Witch's Tale on hiatus until further notice, if this comes out before the end of the year that would be great. Considering that it's been about a year since I played NMH and it's about a year until NMH:DS, this will definitely give me my Suda 51 fix. Awesome news.

I thought the delays were due to the intensely cramped schedule of releases lately. It's hard to make money and sell your games when you're trying to complete with 50 other games in the same genre.

And do you know what the deal is with "A Witch's Tale"? Can you give us a link to info, because I was psyched for it coming out on the 28th, but now IGN lists its release as March 2009. What the deuce?

Game delays I don't particularly mind, I'd definitely rather the developers profit than not. I think I was complaining about Marvelous' slowness in announcing a NA release for Flower, Sun, and Rain; not necessarily the fact that it had been delayed from August to November in EU markets.

Oh, for A Witch's Tale: http://www.siliconera.com/2008/10/08/a-witchs-tale-hit-by-a-delay-spell/

very interesting, i hope this and the silver case DS remakes are both making their way to the states.

oh, and i pondered the same thing when NMH: Desperate Struggle had a D and an S in the name.

Ok, so it was developed by Suda 51's studio, which is a good thing in my book, but how well is the game? Any gamer out there would like to tell me if this is a must buy?

The European magazine NGamer gave it 79 / 100 in their latest issue, with an interesting review that concludes with the follow:

"Ultimately, this is a game that has the gall to force weak puzzles and eye-mangling graphics on you, before introducing a character whose sole role is to point out how awful the game is. Yes, the game basks in its own flaws. Ridiculous, dull, broken and hilarious in equal measures, FSR is essential Suda lore and worth-less to non-believers. You have been warned."
