Danbol Senki (aka Cardboard War Machine) is a PSP RPG that allows kids to build custom robots and battle them in a virtual arena. The art looks strangely reminiscent of another PSP game ... Jeanne d'Arc. The kids will probably want to look out for this one.

how the hell are kids going to learn all this??? you have to make robots and stuff. can you actually control your robot to fight the other robot??? or is it a rpg???

I guess even Level-5 isn't immune to the Pokémon-like tactic of creating games that look, feel and sound like hours-long commercials for related toys and TV shows.

It looks like a deeper version of the old Medabots game for the GBA. Which is a good thing. I actually like the look of this more than Ushira, although hopefully both will get localized for the US so I can add them to my library.

I'm not a fan of Pokemon-esque style games where some other thing does battle instead of you, but I must say... it looks just awesome. Has a Megaman battle network kinda feel goin' on there. Customization looks great too! :)

From the looks of it, this game will feature you playing as the machine, the way they dropped him in the arena like that.

I love the visual style, and the gameplay looks good. I think I will get this one if it is ever localised.
