Video: Banjo-Kazooie 360 vs. Banjo N64
21
The Gametrailers folks posted a comparison video that pits upcoming Banjo-Kazooie on the Xbox 360 versus old-school Banjo-Kazooie on the N64. After our expert analysis (watching the video) we can attest that the 360 version is nearly identical to the N64 version in terms of content, but has the added benefit of crisper models and a deeper color palette. The other bonus is the replacement of all Nintendo references with Microsoft Game Studios logos. Huzzah!

Better than Mario 64 by a notch at least. Better graphics, better sound, better humor, better gameplay imo (the extra abilities of Kazooie really increase the depth). Just a really fun and charming game.

Huzzah indeed!! Damn that looks really good. Major difference there in crispness and color. Getting this game free with N&B will be sweet!

The original never did anything for me. I bought it and forgot about it quickly. The collectathon nature (combined with constant backtracking) plus the relative unsympathetic nature of the characters (they were thoroughly un-endearing) killed it for me. Conker's Bad Fur Day was 10X for me.

AWESOME. Loved the first one- getting this once it's released, and I'll be anticipating the release of the second one.

What, nobody's upset the 360 version looks a little TOO much like the N64 version...?

It's been fking YEARS, i want something a little more than this (although replacing Nintendo with Microsoft did make me laugh)

Yes, I'm disappointed that Banjo is not receiving the kind of graphical overhaul that's being done to Klonoa.

This makes Klonoa an absolute-buy for me, and not so much for Banjo.

Its a good game, but I don't think I'm going to buy it again just for some slightly better graphics.
I probably will get nuts and bolts though.

Uh... is it just me or is that the "longest" trailer ever? I'm getting some sort of strange error where the video is 5-6 times taller than my monitor.

Just click on the comparison link in the story and it will take you to the actual GT website video, where it is the correct size.
