Rock Band continues to build a massive library of music that spans decades of genres. They do it for the love of Rock.
Meanwhile, I sometimes wonder if I should go to the District Attorney's office and press charges against Activision CEO Bobby Kotick... for the RAPE of Guitar Hero.
I mean, we all saw it happen. I just... try not to think about it.
zombiejesus @ Oct 10th 2008 4:22PM
Do you remember the part in Guitar Hero 3 where they replaced Clive Winston with a Jpop School Girl? It just didn't make any sense!
Vegnagun bwf @ Oct 10th 2008 4:42PM
Clive Winston was the best thing to happen to Guitar Hero.

Looks like no purchases for me this week...I wish they would include some singles of other bands when they do album releases:(
Dirty @ Oct 10th 2008 4:07PM
I cant wait to go homechug down some Crüe brew and rock out to doctor feelgood.... not. Oh those are some horrible videos.
Bonus points for anyone who straps their rock band drum set the to ceiling and plays upside down.
IntelliCow @ Oct 10th 2008 6:54PM
"TACOMAAAAAA! How the hell you doin' tonight? Well, it sounds like you're doing f*cking CHOICE."
You all owe it to yourselves to see this video if you haven't before...

"YEAAAAH! And in this f*cking dream I had, man, I said, 'F*ck, wouldn't it be cool to go just a little bit... TO THE RIGHT!'"
(DUM DUM DUM, DUH-DUH-DUM, DUH-DUM, DUM DUM DUM)
Classic.

Kick start my heart! I hate Crue But i love that song.
Dirty @ Oct 10th 2008 5:39PM
Agreed, it does rock.
ScottG13 @ Oct 10th 2008 4:15PM
More metal? No ways!
Asystole @ Oct 10th 2008 4:26PM
Uh, that's not metal, that's glam rock. Not that I'm happy with nor support the recent inundation of metal recently, but if you're going to insult something you should at least do it right.
ScottG13 @ Oct 10th 2008 4:28PM
Either way, more junk my friends won't want to play. Doesn't do much for my experience...
Asystole @ Oct 10th 2008 4:29PM
Actually I should correct myself since you're half right. It's also known as "Hair Metal". Ugh.
jsn @ Oct 10th 2008 4:29PM
just means your friends are lame and you need new ones.
ScottG13 @ Oct 10th 2008 4:35PM
Probably. Still doesn't get me to buy all this metal. I don't know anyone that knows it.
Shagittarius @ Oct 10th 2008 5:02PM
how old are you? Your either like 16 or 61.
Haggard (Mr.ESC resurrected on a... thursday?!) @ Oct 10th 2008 5:27PM
I like songs that are fun to play, regardless of genre. Whilst I normally listen to metal, it's often not that fun to play on RB due to the fiddly solos and so on.
I'm not bad at the game, but some of the DLC is just ridiculous.
ill trooper @ Oct 10th 2008 8:26PM
Yeah, man, 'Glam Rock' is a term more used for bands like T.Rex and New York Dolls... Not 'the Crüe.'
Jack Tretton @ Oct 10th 2008 4:16PM
"She Goes Down"
Hmm...I wonder what that's about?
"Slice of Your Pie"
Hmm...I wonder what that's about?
"Time for Change"
Ooo! Gross!
jsn @ Oct 10th 2008 4:28PM
lots of party classics here and our first power ballad, awesome!
Dan Davis @ Oct 11th 2008 9:08PM
Ummm, isn't "Wanted Dead or Alive" a power ballad?
LeadBoxx @ Oct 10th 2008 4:30PM
It would awesome if the put out Appetite for Destruction! I also would love some Flaming Lips, QOTSA's Songs for the Deaf. a TOOL's Ænima.
FSK405K @ Oct 10th 2008 4:39PM
"Songs for the Deaf": YES if they include the Mosquito Song!
Jack Tretton @ Oct 10th 2008 4:57PM
Any and all QOTSA would be welcome, especially "I'm Designer."
LeadBoxx @ Oct 10th 2008 5:17PM
Yes any QOTSA would be nice but I would die for the self titled album.
FSK405K @ Oct 10th 2008 4:36PM
Okay, glad it's the old Motley and not their new stuff. That said, I know nothing about the band except loving "God Bless The Children Of The Beast". Is Dr. Feelgood a good album? Which songs are going to be worth downloading?
shoan @ Oct 10th 2008 5:01PM
Heck yeah its a great album. I will get a few of these songs. Kickstart my heart is a great song. I wont knock others choice in music if you don't like it just don't like it don't hate on it. Rock Band has been doing a great job of getting a wide variety of music on the game. Also for some reason I have been wanting a Country version of Rock band. There are some songs I would love to play with. Like "ring of fire" from johnny cash.
tmacairjordan87 @ Oct 10th 2008 4:49PM
This is good and I'm sure I'll get most of the songs on there, but EA and Harmonix should really step up and do whatever it takes to get Master Of Puppets on there (the album). I mean yeah their servers would probably explode from everyone downloading it, but it would be so worth the hassle
Tiptup300 @ Oct 11th 2008 12:04AM
Activision has exclusive rights. Burn their building down.
Jon D @ Oct 10th 2008 10:56PM
my friend and I alternate DLC weeks thanks to PS3 game sharing...but this past week (Offsrping Pack) was the first pack he's had to buy. I had to buy all the full albums, and now I gotta buy another one. Yhey?
J.G.F. @ Oct 11th 2008 12:44PM
Motley Crue album! Fuck Yeah! Dr. Feelgood is an awesome album and I can't wait to download this and surprise my friends when they come over!
