I would love to see Wiiware sale numbers, especially a comparison between the first month and September. There's just so much trash on the service, it's been so devalued, that I do wonder whether it's really worth it, financially speaking. Of course, if you put in €20 in R&D then it really doesn't matter.

Looks cool, I'm still looking for something to replace Rock 'n Roll Racing from that violent fun-racer spot in my heart. The engine looks like it can handle very different game styles. Maybe these guys will finally be the steady breeze of development ideas that us Wii owners have been waiting for.

We might have a new Rare on our hands here

Nintendo really needs to look into a buyout.

Whats the point? They'll just abandon us in a gen or two, and leave us by ourselves for an unpopular 5 years.

That's not true. High Voltage has never made shovelware, and never will.

I would call it shovelware if it were a disc-based release

Which many companies would try to pass it off as. It fits neatly as a WiiWare game.

Either that's baaaaad sarcasm, or you've just never looked into High Voltage's history.

Yea, a quick Wikipedia search for High Voltage Software reveals they have a questionable past(software-wise).

Aye. Four years ago they would've made this game, but it would've been "Family Guy Racers" or some other license poorly tacked on

High Voltage is a Wii success story. They never had an opportunity to show their talent until Wii came along. Now we have Animales de la Muerte, The Conduit, this, and Gyrostarr.

I LOVE HIGH VOLTAGE AND THEIR WORK ON THEIR WII, but this is just bad, seriously, i RESPECT high voltage, but if this didn't have the High Voltage name, people would automatically call it shit

@alvin: that's still a snap judgement, you can't tell from screens if a game is good or bad.(there were several good racers in this style)

Yeah, that looks like RC Pro Am, Penny Racers, or Rock n Roll Racing.

My only complaint is that it has SIX tracks.

Think they have planned DLC where each new track is 100 points (or a pack of 5 for 400)?

Alright. I guess I'll be the dissenting voice in this sea of pessimism. I think the game looks like a riot, and *anything* with a 4-player split-screen mode in this generation is rare indeed.

Hot Rod Show and Animales de la Muertes look to both be solid downloads and exactly the kind of quality software I had in mind when Nintendo announced WiiWare. Kudos to High Voltage. Keep supporting the Wii, please.

Lil trucks go fast in dirt.
Lil trucks flip around and crash.
All to guitar rifts, and the sound of a Dixie horn.

I'm in.
