TGS 08 picture tour: Microsoft booth
Nestled comfortably alongside major content partners like Capcom, Electronic Arts, and Square Enix is the Microsoft booth – a bright white oasis of relatively line-free gaming. Seriously, our wait in the Resident Evil 5 co-op line at Microsoft's booth this morning: approximately five minutes. The wait at Capcom's Resident Evil 5 booth? Think "infinity." Check out our gallery below for a quick walkthrough of what the big M's got on display at TGS this year.

Now the question is if the line difference was because no one wanted to go to Microsoft or if they just had a bajillion more 360s.

Good question; I also wonder if they had both 360 and PS3 versions at the Capcom booth and people had no idea which version they'd be playing.

Sorry to be so random, but is Joystiq.com making anyone else's Safai crash on their iPhone? Mine crashes after less than 15 minutes every time! :(

I wouldn't know, I browse it fine on Windows Mobile with IE, Opera Mini, and Opera Mobile =)

Believe me, I wish I had that sort of flexibility at this point but I'm trying to make due with what I've got. And I'd like to know if it's a problem with my phone in particular or if Joystiq's got some piece of code that's conflicting with Mobile Safari more generally. Any less sarcastic folks out there having a similar/different experience?

it's not just you Wulile, mine is doing the exact same thing. I'll be reading an article and it will just crash. Must me something messed up in the mobile page coding. It's damn annoying.

Time to buy me one of those screens. Microsoft sure went all-out with their booth (although I haven't seen other booths to compare).

Do they sell those Tv's after or do they keep them for other events?
How about Joystiq steal some for some joyswag? =3

I don't know about in Japan, but in the U.S. I'm pretty sure that a lot of those displays are put together by third-party companies, who I assume own the equipment.
Psalm Bowser @ Oct 11th 2008 8:05AM
Microsoft didn't show much, huh?

The wait at Microsoft's Fallout 3 line this morning: Somewhere between 70-120 minutes.
