Doesn't the new WOW expansion allow players to raid major towns? I'm sure all those non-horde players will see these 36 shamans at some point.

No, the ability to raid major towns has been in the game since or close to launch. Not an addition in BC.

Patton Oswalt is a funny actor/comedian. He makes people laugh and has his own legion of fans. There are worse "real world" lives to lead than his. A guy with 36 WoW accounts, for instance...
When you reach the point that even WoW addicts are calling you pathetic, you're no longer bad ass in the real or virtual world.
And no, I won't hate on him for having fun and enjoying his life, good for him. I'm sure he's happier than a pig in shit, which is more than most of us can say. If you want to dedicate your life to playing a game, good old democracy says you're entitled to it, so long as you pay your taxes...
