Yep, would've grabbed Dead Space if it had co-op. Can't fit that in with all the fall games that do have it.

I'll glady pay $50 for a scare game, as I've always done in the past for Silent Hill and others. Then again I'm the same guy who've taken women to see the Saw movie as a date, so I guess I'm twisted like that =]

Yes, and eventually we got married. The tradeoff is for every scary movie I subject her to, I myself am subjected to a romantic movie.

Just last night we watched both Lost in Translation and Open Waters 2 :)

The Saw movies are not scary at all. Are they supposed to be? I take them as thrillers. Even my wife likes them.

I would categorize the Saw movies as being under the disturbing category, along with Hostel, Open Water, Requiem for a Dream, etc. These movies leave you with a general feeling of ickiness and a better appreciation of the value of life.

It's good to get shocked every now and then to make your 9-5 job and daily existence seem less mundane.

That's why I'll be playing Dead Space with the lights off and volume up.

Dead Space!

This is it; the start of it all. I just checked the calendar: from now till the end of November, there will be several big games coming out every single week. The tidal wave is hitting us now.

Why though? A game that so heavily relies on atmosphere should be experienced on TV

Unless your PC rig has a better sound system, that'd be understandable.

Quick Question

Can someone tell me are the Wii user's getting F*cked over again i see no release for Rock Revolution.

Went to gamestop website and the relase date is in november even though it comes with no instruments at all. It is a dumbed down version that is going to gimped worse then the NDS lite version.

Look On the bright side. You can still play Bratz: Girls Really Rock all night long.

Buy a real system.

I think it's air guitar and air drums...Though they are smart because it parents will look at the games and see $190 for GHWT, $50 for RR, and RB/RB2 I don't know the price and pick up RR.

He obviously has a real system, what you're asking him to do is buy a Microsoft-or-Sony manufactured PC

A Sony or Microsoft PC that is subsidized to cost less because it has bad-ass games on it that are worth buying.

"Buy a real system."

@ Dirty - I thought all the consoles this generation were real systems cpu/graphic power isn't everything when playing plastic with instruments.

@ Blazur - Always question is when don't we get screwed.
No DLC, watered down game play, waggle when its not needed etc etc etc........

@ TheOverlord#2 - Weird that no one can make it compatible like the PS3/360 for the wii. All this plastic i got lying around my apartment. Four guitars and a set of drums. i think they would do that much for the wii owners as well.

@ Vidikron - Wii music could be a sleeper hit well @ least a very inexpensive way to teach children how to play different musical instruments.

Hooray for SOCOM! It's finally out and I'm getting the awesome headset with it!

On a side note, did anyone else in the LBP Beta notice that the sackpeople moved their mouths when you were talking into a headset? Was crazy!
