OFLC: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand being published by THQ

Australia's high-strung ratings board, the OFLC, notes that 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand will be published by THQ -- at least in that region. The game received an "MA 15+" rating last Friday. Holla atcha boy if you happy it ain't banned.

The 50 Cent sequel had previously been dropped by Activision during its merger with Vivendi, which caused rumors to spring up that the game had died. But much lite Fitty getting shot, Developer Swordfish Studios got back up and announced that the game was still in development and trying to make a holiday release. THQ was previously speculated to be a publisher for the game, but the OFLC rating is the first piece of evidence of that claim's validity.

This piece of shit found a publisher but still nothing for Ghostbusters? Really?

I wouldn't worry about that too much, there are also rumors floating around that there is going to be a new Ghostbusters movie in the works before long.

The only plus/downside to the new movie is it will apparently be an Apatow produced comedy with his cast of regulars like Seth Rogan, Bill Hader etc...

How is it that this piece-o-shit game gets an official public announcement or a new publisher but we can not get any official word on whether a quality title like ghostbusters is being saved.

And with this, THQ further there position as being one of the worst publishers ever. Seriously, what good games have they ever published? I remember buying the wrestling games when i was 10 but that was about it!

Titan Quest (PC) for one. I believe the are also the publisher for Saint's Row. They do have a lot of junk in their history, but there's a few decent titles.
