Pogo opens Austin office, first title is Pictureka!
EA's Pogo division has opened a new studio in Austin, Texas, to work on the company's Hasbro licensed properties. In an interview with GameDaily, the company announced its first title will be based on visual acuity board game, Pictureka!, which the studio expects to be spotted in November for $20 on PC.
Pogo Austin's Studio Director Sean Clark says he "can imagine" the company's stable of Hasbro games (Monopoly, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit) coming to XBLA, PSN and WiiWare, but no announcement has been made. It's actually quite surprising that Pogo hasn't made such popular franchises available for download on consoles yet.

Online multiplayer Trivial Pirsuit? I'd play that for sure. And wasn't Monopoly a rumour months and months ago?

Pogo is great with new games but the customer service through EA is terrible. Kudos to the design team but customer service is horrible.

I have been a member of Pogo for 7 years. They do have Trivial Pusuit and Monopoly. Also Pitureka is going to be available any day now. I have NEVER had a badge denied to me. The Pogo site has free games and also Games for paid members only. The members only games have no advertisments.

Not all pogo members are equal. For the lower percentage whom do not reside in Canada, America or UK - Jackpots, Gifts etc are NOT available to them, Neither is access to some games like Scrabble due to "copyright", even Gem items as we are unable to be acknowledged in the same form as those from the above areas.
If those who pay membership pay the same price as those whom can access all privileges, the "other country players should be offered other deals. (IE, win a free game etc).
