Yes, because we all know that every single PS3 owner is connected to the PlayStation Network...

Well not all people have a Internet connection or want/can download demos i.e. only slow internet or download limit. If they have enough free space on the disc white not use it. I thinks it`s a nice addition although I would prefer Demos from newer games like a Mirrors Edge demo :)

Good luck with that. The Burnout Paradise demo has been taken off the PS Store for quite some time now.

I find this an interesting marketing strategy to say the least. It's not like they're forcing you to put the demos on your hard-drive so it's like an extra option for those who don't have internet access. Good move in my opinion.

Those that have a limited bandwidth or slow Internet connection (or even none at all) can gain great benefits from this.

Hey guys, sorry I re-iterated what the other posters said at the top. My browser had a delay before I knew that they were going to post the same thing what I was about to say.

well not everyone is connected to the PSN, what if they have the 20 GB launch ps3?? it is actually go business in part of EA especially having the ability to download and store it on the PS3 without having the disc in the drive. Nice thinking EA even though they are few and far apart.... but lately they seem to be coming faster and faster(goes to find news flash if hell was frozen over)

Not a bad idea. Although i have already played both of those demos, it's still a nice addition.

That multiple icons feature would have been nice on the MGS4 disc. one icon for MGS and one for MGO (or for any dual online/offline game)

Or Stranglehold SE. They could have an icon for the game and another icon in Video to watch Hard Boiled. The UI in-game for Hard Boiled really sucks and they should have just treated that as a video that was playable via the XMB like any usual Blu-ray Disc movie. But hey, that's just me. What do I know?

The game was a fun throwback that wasn't as bad as people made it out to be (in my personal opinion, of course). Flawed, but certainly not swill.

As linebeginstoblur pointed out, in order to access Hard Boiled, you need to launch the game, then select the movie from the menu, and for all that trouble, you're treated with awful movie controls and tiny subtitles (depending on the resolution). I seem to recall Midway's excuse was that the Weinstein's (who supported HD DVD at the time) would only allow Hard Boiled to be released on BD if only PS3s could play it, not standard BD players. The idea is that it wouldn't impact future Hard Boiled HD DVD sales down the road. *cough* *cough*

It's not a bad game. Not a great game, but not a bad one. I bought it for two reasons: I enjoyed playing the demo, and I wanted Hard Boiled in HD. It's upsetting to see that one of the main reasons I bought it was handled poorly.

I think the publisher's may found their answer on how to leverage the capacity of Blu-ray if there is still some space to be covered.
