Because seriously, how mellow is that tune? Lovely. Yours truly almost drifted off at his keyboard watching this. It's also nice to be reminded that we don't reside in a post-apocalyptic wasteland! This is the Tokyo Game Show trailer for Namco Bandai's Fragile, featuring plenty more of hero Seto and his female colleague Ren (who could both do with a comb through their hair), the floating spirit of a young girl, and a lot of cut-scenery. All in all, it's as enchanting and as beautiful as ever, if a little light on gameplay.

Cute looking game. I can't wait! But they need to fix the controls or this game is DOOMED.

Wow. I'm now officially interested. I can't remember the last time a movie trailer gave me goosebumps, let alone a game trailer. Well done!

Anyone know if this is coming to America?

Men, almost shared a tear over this trailer
If this ever comes to america, i hope they give us an option to play the game with the original voices subbed
Still, if not, i'm porting it, hell yeah, i liked, just hoping they can work a little more on their battle system. Its not hard, just copy from Zelda or Devil May Cry, just the basics

but we've already seen gameplay footage and it aiiiint pretty. this, however....this fucking trailer is pretty damn epic.
from what i've gathered from all the comments so far is that i can probably expect a beautiful, engrossing story. couple that with the fantastic art style and all i really need is controls that aren't completely broken (when is this being released?) for a win

The cinematography seems to take after Makoto Shinkai. Very beautiful! Why can't American games look like this?

Cause in Japan is the best of the best in animation and making games, just that, there they know how to make games, really.

lol, I love tri-Crescendo, and this looks all well and good but....
There still isn't any indication that this game will in-fact be localized for a NA audience. Until that happens, I would suggest people not get TOO excited about this.
I know, its tempting, Wii games with high production values and compelling storylines/concepts like this are few and far between. But unless you're an import junkie, a Japanese only game isn't going to do you any good.

Can anyone tell me where I can find the song in the trailer?
Posted: Dec 27th 2008 1:35AM (Unverified) said
The song is called Kawaranai Mono and it's originally sang by Hanako Oku. I'm not sure who's singing it in this version.. I like it better. @_@;

Actually, the song is Hikari, sung by Teshima Aoi.
The song Kawaranai Mono sounds similar, in a way, however. That song is, also, excellent.

Yeah, both songs have the phrase "kawaranai mono" in them, which literally means "unchanging things", hence why it popped up in your search. I wish I understood the Japanese language better, as "Hikari" sounds like an amazing song. Of course, perhaps not actually knowing what the lyrics mean but simply imagining what they COULD mean makes it even better..."unchanging things" seems like a fitting phrase for a ruined, tranquil world filled with spirits and memories ;D If I ever buy a Japanese-region Wii, it'll be to import this game >

@_@; I thought that the song I found was just an upbeat version of the song by another singer.
You probably don't need to buy a Japanese Wii. This game is probably coming to the US. o:

I definitely hope it is. Although I'd rather play with Japanese audio (with subtitles, if possible)...
Oh, and happy new year, everyone. ;P
