@ Sircut

I hope they DON'T release the extras as a download. Since they totally nerfed the collector's edition of the game I would like to actually have some extra benefits that the standard edition doesn't get.

As a compromise, I'd hope they'd wait to do the suit and other collector's bonuses until WELL after the game comes out. (Few months or something)

Who cares, MS? It might only hype people up to get the LE. Or if it is dumb looking, prevent them from getting it. Hmm, interesting.

The thing about bonuses like this is that the items usually have decent stats at the start of the game but later on you find items much better so you can't really use it any more.

Well not really because i read somewhere that clothes don't actually give you any bonus to armor and such. Instead you develop skills. It's all in an effort to allow people to customize their character as much as they want

@ Arnon

He can tell it looks terrible because he has seen a lot of games with terrible graphics in his time, and also the pixels.

i really wish they worked on the water more. the water looks as static as Fable 1 with very limited animation.

I'm sorry, but even the screenshot you posted does not look good. This is supposed to be a next-gen game, and it doesn't look like one. I'll probably change my mind once I see the final build (already preordered) but just look: terrible ground textures, rough edges and no anti-aliasing. They can do better these days.

You have to click on the image to get the best view of it.. Also, I'm shocked.. those graphics to me look great. The game is not meant to be realistic. It represents a book. Hence the name, Fable.

And yes, I agree they could have worked on the water a bit.. they need it to interact more with the character. But it has a nice reflection to it.

The point of the armor is to show it off to your friends.

I think if they gave you amazing armor and weapons for dlc from the very start of the game.. it would ruin the entire experience.

armor doesn't even matter in Fable 2. you can wear anything you want and it wont' affect your character. this keeps everyone from picking the most "uber" armor. it keeps things fresh.
