On the other hand, even the retarded governor of Alaska probably could have managed to hit the correct 'Reply' button when making a snarky political comment, thus saving herself a great deal of embarassment.

OH RLY!? You know the average character of any Obama supporter from a comment on a blog article on a videogame blog? You should appear on news and break it to America!

So if I find something, anywhere I please, on the internet that is anti-Obama with inflammatory language or insults, that automatically means that it's representative of all McCain supporters!?

WOWEE! You're smart!

On a more serious note: Can't political ads stay the fuck out of my video games?

Yeah! Get political ads out of my video games, instead I want more advertisements for the soda, movies, and fast food chains...rather than having to think about "democracy", "voting", and "presidential candidates"...once every four years.

Reposting here, since my "reply" misfired...

I think these ads are a GOOD thing. And here is why:

As a group, gamers have consistently complained about video game legislation and similar issues, in an outspoken effort to protect their chosen form of entertainment. This has included the creation of multiple political lobbies in the names of both video game consumers and creators.

Now, we have one of the currently most influential politicians in America ACKNOWLEDGING that we, the video game players, are a legitimate political block, and DELIBERATELY TRYING TO GET OUR VOTES. We are NOT being ignored. We are NOTICED. We are WORTH SPENDING MONEY ON.

We have power now, at least in part.

I personally am going to vote for the man who's acknowledged that my opinion counts, and not the man who is willfully ignoring us.

Yep it says a lot as to how far advertising has come and how crafty they are, being able to target specific states, in specific video games, with specific advertisements. Who knows what the limit for advertising really is...

At least there's not a McDonald's logo on any of my consoles...

Halo - Lets blast those mudda effing covernantssess to hell then go get us a happy meal

Final Fantasy
Killzone
Fable

and several others, if I ever saw thier logo, I'd probably have to stop and stare at it more then the great scenery around.

Hey Obama is a smart man to do this. These ads beat the soda and snack ads you usually see because they have a cause. Besides who wants to elect someone who has Palin as a VP?

not that there's any thing wrong with ingame adverts but seeing a ad for a AXE body spray is a bit diferent from a political ad

its abit much but maybe thats just me

IMO we are so in debt, and the economy faltering to a point where either candidate is going to have a rocky first 1 year maybe longer.

Yes McCain has served our country and was a PoW, but he was a pilot...( Dont give me the unpatriotic look
Obama i think should have at least finished his term as Senator, and gotten more exp. under his belt...
So either way, we are fudged in some way or another.
