'BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams' teased in BioShock PS3

According to internet murmurings, those who complete the PlayStation 3 version of BioShock are not only awarded the satisfaction of having caught up with their Xbox 360 and PC peers, but a brief teaser trailer for the franchise's next installment. The game, dubbed "Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams," appears to take place sometime after the original -- and somewhere along the Atlantic coast. Check out the video (from N4G user, "TheWho") after the break!

We've contacted 2K Games for confirmation and further information.

Actually, this game will be an XBLA and PS3 arcade game. You play as a stationary rocket launcher turret and shoot as many splicers as you can while they walk by. You loose points if you hit a little sister and automatically die if you hit a big daddy. Fun!

Oh, man. I hadn't thought of this before the trailer, but now I really really hope you get to play as one of the grown up little sisters in the sequel. They did pretty much complete the guy's story from the first game, and I think to get more plot from him would be a stretch. But the little sisters only have a small party of their story told, and there's a lot of possibility there. Maybe after growing up one of them decides to go back to Rapture?

I believe is going to be a prequel but there are so many details we don't know.

User posted video on Youtube...seems legit and other netizens are piping in that they have seen it live (ie after beating the game)....you should see Youtube flooded soon if legit.

There have been 2 games on X360 that I've wanted to play (without buying an X360) and Biosock was/is one of them...glad to see they're on their way to B2 already.

I'm not one to enter flame wars, but you are absolutely retarted if you think a semi-exclusive title (it was on the PC too jackass) going multiplatform a FULL YEAR after its release, then you are an idiot and should not post. PS, I'm not bitching that FFXIII isn't going to be exclusive to my favorite system, i only care because the 360 port is pushing the release back farther.

Slayer, he's just very upset that Sony fanboys will get to play BioShock 2, the people of his nightmares, they haunt him every night as he sleeps, taunting him, mocking him from his middle school days as they were all his bullies and tormentors. I don't like it when people say games are an exclusive by ignoring the PC. The PC is a gaming platform, too. Hell, consoles are computers now anyway. Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears of War, etc. are not exclusives in my book. Some would be timed, though, I guess.
