Very very nice. I wonder if they'll get around to putting Vice City on there. That's the only one besides 4 that I haven't played yet.

Tis backwards compatible, worth buying it best GTA made IMO. In fact the original xbox had a special box set that gave you Vice+3 and SA was a classic by the end of it's life.

You can probably buy all 3 cheaper than the price there going to charge.

I know. GameStop had the used copies by themselves out of the Double Pack though and I only bought GTA3. Hence why I want Vice City.

Would have rather had Vice City, but then again id rather have them on disc than DLC. Too bad the Trilogy is so hard to find for a reasonable price.

You gotta find the double pack then San Andreas. That is what I did. I found the double pack for 20 at Best Buy and SA for 10 I think at Walmart. I picked them up late also cause I had them for ps2 and traded the whole system in for a 360 and had to rebuy. So worth it though.

This might have to be the first Xbox Original I've ever downloaded. I played GTA III and then jumped straight to GTA IV. I haven't played Vice City or San Andreas.

If you haven't played SA, you've really missed out. GTA:SA was the pinnacle of the series in every way possible. GTA IV, while a fun game (I logged 70 hrs), couldn't hold a torch. SA has more varied missions, a greater depth of characters, more cars, weapons, mini games, and awesome radio channels (IMO, GTA IV's radio sucked more than all the others, I muted radio 2 hours into the game).

I don't care what anyone says, this is Grand Theft Auto's high point, for awhile I didn't even think there was gonna be another one cause San Andreas did everything you could ask for in a GTA game.

@ Mr Bunky, lmao, that should get props.

and this game was probably the best of them, and vice city was amazing, for anyone who went from 3 straight to 4 and hasnt played sa or vc, those 2 will blow you away, no cover system like 4, but so much more you can do, especially in sa, i got the trilogy on ps3 for 30 at gamestop a few months ago, i think they get that in regularly there on ps2, on xbox i'm unsure, but i think ps2 was the system everyone played it on anyways.

San Andreas was the one I missed. I started with the "good old*" GTA II, Moved to III, grabbed Vice City and played it to death and just never got around to buying San Andreas. I may have to give this one a go. It's just that Microsoft has me so addicted to achievements that something like no gamerscore is actually holding me back from an immediate buy. (Stupid I know, but an addiction is an addiction)

*good is used loosely here...very loosely

The German page says "available now" (jetzt erhältlich).

http://www.xbox.com/de-DE/games/g/grandtheftautosanandreas/default.htm

It's rated 16+ so it'll even be available here, woohoo!
