Video: Fable 2 ad asks us to choose our destiny
18
In the wake of Fable 2's impending release, Microsoft and Lionhead Studios just launched a new Fable 2 Destiny advertisement which is, well ... good.
The new ad doesn't push Fable 2's visuals, gameplay or even the friendly little pooch that's always by your side. Instead, their latest ad centers in on the hero you become and the choices you makes that determine what you'll become. Evil, good, clean, dirty, tattooed or on fire, it's your choice. It's a great ad and we're totally loving the flickering candle effect.

Did I miss something? Wasn't there supposed to be a new "Alan Wake" trailer? I thought there was news we'd get a new trailer on 10/15? What happened?

Thanks. *Goes back to watching the same, almost 3-year-old trailer*

Gawd... what to pick? Does one get Dead Space or wait for Fable II, does one hold thy breath for GoW 2, or Fallout 3?
Decisions, decisions.

Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2, for me. I'll get GeoW2 later.

Only Fable II, for me.
Dead Space and Fallout 3 for PC, since they involve aiming with presumably some degree of precision.
GoW2 is a rental, unless you're really big on multiplayer gaming. But if you're willing to play GoW online, then you're probably happy to play Dead Space and Fallout 3 with the rofluseless analog sticks.

I think they're underestimating the popularity of Fable, it sold well on Xbox but it's not exactly a well known title, atleast not in the USA. That's an awesome trailer though.

I can't wait for this game. I've actually cut myself off from any further coverage (don't really want to know EVERYTHING about the game before it comes out) but I had to watch the this trailer anyway. (Amazing!)

love the ad, and the accent, although the last few shots of fable footage cheapen the effect a little, I feel.
