Rare is offering an added treat for Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise -- print out one of the three currently available cards and you can get "a suitable Pinata approximation of whatever is pictured." The first three available, which is guaranteed to incite a rabid fan base -- are Killer Instinct characters Fulgore, B. Orchid and Tusk. To access the KI pinatas, print out the cards and hold them up to your vision camera.
We wouldn't take this to be an indication of a pending announcements -- the cards themselves feature the 3D models from the Nintendo 64 era -- but either Rare has something in mind or it really likes to taunt its old fan base.

Seems more like another tease, rather than an indication of a sequel/remake. They do this all the time, and Rare themselves hate the game. I don't see anything ever coming from it.
In my opinion it didn't play particularly well to begin with, and has aged very badly. It doesn't need any sort of revival.

That was bad ass when fulgore busted out the guns to finish you off with. I could never get enough of that!

Someone NEEDS to post screen shots of whatever comes out of these things.
O and Killer Instinct really does need a sequel. If Rare doesn't wanna do it, sell it to Microsoft and they'll find someone. I'm sure it would make a great game.

The elephanilla is mediocre, the other two are completely lame.
Not worth getting a camera for, that's for sure.

I don't understand the fuss. Other than the graphics, Killer Instinct wasn't that great a fighting game.

The game was popular due to the combo system that was pretty much non existent in other fighters. 80+ hits?

Maybe it will be available as a retro-download (original game) on Wii Console?
Or are there some kind of licensing issue since it's a MS IP now? How would that work?

I will never understand why KI gets people all crazy when the X360 has Virtua Fighter 5, DOA4, Soulcalibur IV, and is getting Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6 next year...

You're absolutely right.
Also, I'll never understand why people like the game Forza since they already have Project Gotham, Ridge Racer, and Gran Turismo.
For that matter, why do people like Sprite when there's Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Mountain Dew?
As long as I'm thinking of it, why do people enjoy the color red since blue, green, and yellow already exist?!
Makes no sense to me.

Rare are being a little dumb here, either that or they have no market research skills.. if they looked at some the comments or posts here they'd see a new Killer Instinct would sell.. don't you want our money Rare?? gawwwd!
