"Former" Xbox 360 fanboy? Why, lack of games?

You gotta be kidding me, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. That'd be the equivalent to me saying, "I used to be a PS2 fanboy but now I'm a Gamecube fanboy because there are less games and I'm all about the system and company, not the games."

Go ahead, tell me it was one of the only 4 exclusive titles PS3 has that actually matter (MGS:4, Little Big Planet, Resistance of Man or Uncharted) that made you choose to favor a PS3 over a Xbox 360. How about you REALLY make everyone giggle on this blog and say it was Blu-Ray playback... because we all know how much movies matter in the video game industry. *chuckle*

This is one of the most foolish things I've read today... and I've read a LOT already today.

If he wants to like the PS3, let him. That's his opinion. No sense in getting all pissy about it. Just take a deep breath, count to ten and keep scrolling.

I still own both systems, what I find funny is people hate the ps3! why do people hate it. It's a product, not a sports team! it does what it's sposed to do, and that's what it's meant to do. It's not gonna love me, or protect me from danger. It's a device and nothing more. When you compare it to another product, sure it's not pumping out games as fast, but it's still pumping out games. If you compare the 360 to playstation2 or dreamcast, what happens, or when you compare it to pc or macs what happens. Nothing right you still prefer the xbox. I don't hate pc because it has like 1000x more games than xbox. That's the thing, people compare too much. I bet you're jealous when a friend gets a new car or when a person gets a new girlfriend. I get what I want, I either regret it or don't. I don't regret it, I'm happy with it. I could care less about how much better you feel about a product. I like what I like, just like you like what you like, and I don't hate your product or you for it. You racist =p

I look at it this way, I spent $1000 on xbox on hardware, rechargeable batteries, hd dvd, 120gig hdd, wireless adapter etc. I only spent $400 on ps3. I pay to play online (which I do like once in a couple of months).

I'm happy with my ps3 purchase and slightly bitter about my xbox purchase, rrod and some other issues. sure it's only money. I can always make more. So I'm not too upset. I still play xbox. I just prefer my ps3.

Yah dude, I'm totally for buying what you want, and getting what you want, but to hate something that isn't your first choice is a bit extreme. Dumb people would fight over it. I've seen on a few forums people if face to face would have swung on each other. Over a system preference or minor victories, like fan noise or number of games or online service? Odd!

took 4 days for my coffin to arrive and 2 weeks later i was back online with a month of LIVE free.

Microsoft couldn't make getting a rrod console replaced any easier! You may have heard they extended warranties AND made them retro-active and I believe they'll reimburse for previous out-of-pocket repairs as well. Pretty much you need to dial a 1800 number, read your serial number, and know your own address. Seriously.
