This one is easy: how much time do you spend playing Wii in a week? We make sure we get at least one session in each and every week, thanks to Game Night, but maybe you're not chained to a radiator in somebody's basement, forced to blog for hours and hours on end. Enough about us, though (please, get help!). How much do you spend playing Wii each week?

I play an hour a day, except on weekends when it shrinks to 10/20 minutes due to my jobs and drinking sessions. I usually play at the dead of night, 3-4 am, like some scruffy owl, as that's the only time I'm ever free.
I still haven't seen Smashville by day.

Before anybody corrects me, what I meant was: I haven't seen KK Slider sing his Saturday morning song.

It depends on what type of game im into the moment, like for an adventure game i may play 9 hours over the weekend (kind of scary) and it really depends on how fun a multiplayer game is (like for Mario Kart Wii I don't want to know how much i played that game)

I play about a hour and a half a day at the moment but that is mainly because of my Wii Fit routine.

I play some casual games almost every day (Guitar Hero). Other times I get a hankering to play Zelda or Metroid and I can play for multiple hours on end. All depends on the wife, job, school work and this damned election.

Counting the Internet Channel...about 3-4 daily.
Only counting games...about 1-2 daily.
I'll go check the "Today's Achievements" letter and reply later.

Well, last year I was a senior in college. This afforded me much time. I played the Wii maybe two or three hours a week and the 360 another five.
Then I came to law school. I've played the Wii maybe two hours in the last two months. :(

I try to play daily, if just a quick VC game , I do try to make a point to play Wii sports fit test once a day, lately though my 360 gets more of my attention.

When I get a new title, I like to blast through it as quickly as possible so I can get back to my real life.
During those times, I can chalk up to 3-4 hrs nightly. Once the game is beaten, I generally get in an hour or so every other night, either playing VC titles or slowly re-treading through some of my old Cube games.

OK... It's about time someone asked that question. I've a terrible confession to make: Spore® has almost taken over my video game life! And, thanks to the Wii's message board, my betrayal is now being electronically logged! Before the advent of this Spore® thing, I used to easily log 8 to 10 hrs. per week playing games on the Wii. But now, I'm lucky to get an hour a week by checking for Mariokart tournaments and doing my semi-weekly "Die repeatedly in a Megaman game" exercises.
I know it's a temporary phenomenon. (Animal Crossing City Folk, Wii Sports Resort launching soon) And I just downloaded Secret Of Mana and the new World Of Goo. Both of which are exceptionally good games. But, that doesn't make me feel any less ashamed!
Whhheeewww! I feel a bit better having gotten all that out. Thank you Fanboy's® for asking that question...

about 5 hours a day. i only work on weekends (which then it drops to 2 hours) and weekdays i'm at school (collage). though when i'm out of school and done with H/W is when i'll boot up the Wii and start playing my five hours of play.

(((~1-2 hrs weekdays) x 2 weekends) x 2 new releases)
That's my best guess anyway.

At least 1 hour a day...
I still play Brawl, Tenkaichi 3, and Mario Kart with my gf on a regular basis... (especially after creating a new Brawl Stage)
Oh, and Battle of the Bands, cuz that's fun. :)
So... pretty good amount of time (not to mention the amount of time my gf spends checking the Everybody Votes channel, Internet Channel, and reorganizing things).
... also, I swing out all the other games whenever guests are over. :) (especially my little cousin)

Unfortunately I haven't had the time or money to play the Wii much at all. Last game I played was Kingdom Hearts for PS2 because I was in the mood for a high quality Square Enix RPG and the Wii was a bit lacking. Plus it was less than 20 bucks. Great game though, I think I'll pick up the sequel when I have some spare cash and free time.
I do want to play Okami and Zelda:TP soon though.

You really should pick up KH2. One of my Top 10 series/games of all time. Though maybe you should wait for the PS2 release of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories(December) if you want to know exactly what happened after KH1.(Though KH2 basically tells you what happens...and 358/2 Days tells more during Sora's *mini-SPOILER* sleep...*mini-SPOLIER*)

Hah. When I got my DS, my Wii time was already pretty low. Then I got my DS, and stopped playing Wii altogether for a few weeks.
Curiously, though, playing my DS actually made me start playing Wii more once the novelty wore off a bit. I guess I fell back in love with games.

'eh...maybe 3-5 hours a week, at best.
Although sometimes I manage to not even turn my consoles on for a whole week.
My gaming time has actually gone down in the last month, too, since I'm a neighborhood leader for the Obama campaign...so my nights are pretty much booked up and by the time I get home, I usually just want to eat, surf the web a bit and then sleep!

I'm not meaning to be...mean, but don't you think campaigning for Obama, or any major candidate, is a worthless pursuit? All these politicians, campaign managers, backroom staff, they all emerged from the same squalid institutions, the same piss-ridden pool. It's quite the family affair, I must say.
To devote your time and energy into such activities is pointless because, as can be shown over the last few months, no politician gives a flying fuck about the electorate. Only the money men matter. So, unless your making 6figures, you're wasting your time.
Aussi: why ignore Mckinney or Nader? They're running too, msm.

I'd say in the 3 to 25 hour a week range, depending on what I'm playing that week.
Posted: Oct 19th 2008 10:24AM (Unverified) said
I play at least 45 minutes of Wii Fit each day (that's about 35 Fit Credits, the test, and navigating the menus). That's about 5:15 a week, and that is the bare minimum I play each week.
If I've gotten a new game recently, add about 24 hours of playing it, or if I pick up an old game that I haven't finished (I did this a while ago with Sonic and the Secret Rings). If I'm having a party, add 4-5 hours.
So anywhere from 5:00 to 35:00 would be a good range. On average, probably about 10:00 across the board.
