After already announcing that the Fable II co-op patch was complete, Lionhead has announced that the Fable II co-op patch is ... erm ... complete. We're not really sure why the second announcement has gone up. Both mention that the patch is done, ready for the game's launch, and that gamers wouldn't even have known that co-op was ever missing. We're guessing the kicker is that the patch has cleared certification, which was offered as the only caveat in the original announcement. So, just to be clear, the patch is really, really done and those with a copy of Fable II will receive it via an autoupdate when they first start the game.

Is Fable II really a big enough title to warrant a midnight release? I mean, I will be buying it and already pre-ordered it but... a midnight release? Really?

yeah, they're talking about online co-op.
Seriously, if you've been following this game do you really need to ask?

I'm pretty sure last time they said they had finished but were waiting for the certification process, and although they didn't know if it'd make it in time or not, they hoped it would. This was saying the certification is complete and will be available, basically.

Well, I know this is a bit old but there was a midnight launch at gamecrazy and I got it at midnight launch and played it. I noticed the online co-op was missing, it wasn't until hours later that it was released. So many people were around online noticing that there was no online co-op.
