Despite its age, Canvas Curse can still run about twenty bucks or more online. It isn't an overly demanding price for a platforming gem, but if you can track it down for cheaper, don't think twice about picking it up. If you enjoy Kirby, clever platforming, or just one of the best uses for the stylus I've seen, you could certainly do worse than to pick up Canvas Curse for your library.
But if that isn't enough to convince you, why not read on for the stats? They probably won't change your mind, sure, but at least my segue is working just as planned.
Sleep time: Canvas Curse won't pause the game whenever you close the lid, so make sure you hit the start button yourself before you put the DS to sleep.
Load time: About twenty-three seconds to jump into the first level, though you may want to go through training (probably an additional minute) if this is your first time playing.
Play time: This depends on your skill level and whether or not you're medal-hunting, but as a rule levels don't seem to take more than five minutes to complete. There are always exceptions, of course, but so long as you follow the map, you shouldn't waste too much time if you get lost.
