Noooo, I am having serious browser problems (rogue cookies I think.) I mostly blame Vista and IE7 for automatically populating the field then trying to log me in.

No one thinks that this new version feels Cheap?? I can barely remember the weight/build of the first one, but I Know it was better built and felt more solid. That bay door is WAY CHEAP. and the pull away door for the memory card slot feels like it belongs on a toy.

I think most of the cost went to the screen and that's it. What happened to the clear face with the base color beneath?? WOW. There's a thing of making something cheaper, yet better (see Apple products)but sony went the route of just making something CHEAP.

I'm afraid to drop this thing... It feels so light, but not in a good way. I wish I could have felt it in my hand first before buying, I would have just brought a early version.. I might just let my son have it after I complete FF Tactics.

The d-pad is cool though, M$ get on your job!

I think that might be the same with the 2000 model too (which I have). I remember similar complaints levied against it in comparison with the 1000 model. The disk tray on the back is particularly tacky on the 2000.

I prefer the PSPhat, where the only bugs are being held together by electrical tape, that and the bugs crawling out of it because its so old.

I like the 1000 model but the 2000 and 3000 model have the av connection that you can do with the new Resistance psp game. If the old 1000 model did it I'd keep my old psp but since not I'll have to get a 2000 or 3000. It sucks.

http://www.engadget.com/2008/10/21/sony-looking-into-psp-3000-interlacing-problems/

"Update: A Japanese Sony Computer Entertainment representative has informed us that the interlacing-like lines are just "features" of the new LCD, and currently, there are no plans to fix it with a future software update since it is in the hardware."

Doesn't look good. :(

I recently got to know that the new psp 3000 has firmware 4.01 ( or something like that ).... which isnt running games from memory stick. and i want to run games from memory stick. the point is that i wanted to ask, whether i can buy the psp 3000 and then downgrade it to... say ... 3.9? and then run the games?
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT WAY?
ANYONE PLZ?!
