On its surface, Hunted Forever is a very simple game: You're madly scrambling as you attempt to avoid a vicious laser-and-missile toting A.I. Dig a little deeper though and you'll find ... well, it's still pretty simple. But it's also really fun.
We don't know why the robots want to wipe this sad last human off the face of the planet, but they do, and, frankly, as a human yourself, that should be enough for you. With really fantastic animations, your shadowy protagonist will leap to avoid certain death, all while trying to collect machine parts that he can use to upgrade his abilities.
For the duration, he'll be taunted/guided by a GLaDOS-esque support system that wants nothing more than his quick, painful death.
As we said, it's a simple concept. But much like Castle Crashers, it bolts on some more contemporary concepts to its classic core for an experience that we think you'll really enjoy.

Seems like I remember playing a game similar to this from Stumbleupon a while back... you were a tiny dinosaur running from the destruction of the meteor that just hit the earth... could jump onto passing pterodactyls and such eat food to run faster, anyone else play that?

A lot of fun. The similarities to N are unmistakable, both visually and control-wise, and the Automated Support System (ASS LOL!) is exactly GladOS.

I thought the same thing, man, I miss OOTW/Another World, Flashback, etc. Those were some fantastic games. Not to get all super-nostalgic, but they managed to make that game look awesome and run at high res, by using mostly solid colors to create the appearance of textures. That game really pushed the limits, and had a great story to boot. Consider this a reccomendation to go download Another World (aka Out of this World), if you've never played it.

50 bucks for The Force Unleashed, and I've already spent more time playing this game. Funny that.

Is it just me or do people attempting to be all Glados-esque are really annoying? Ffs, her(it?) and HK-47 are some of my favourite characters but for the love of god, enough of this crap. It's not as much "influenced" as "completely ripped off".

The controls could use some work. They're good for performing slick free-running moves, but not so great at allowing precise movement. Still, I definitely give the game points for style.

Excellent gameplay with only minor glitches (getting stuck in walls). Graphics and the ambient music make a great mix. Good controls. Would be a 10/10 if the game was lengthened, but it's a one-man job, so the effort is commendable. An example of pro play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVbiBNoXlkM&fmt=18
