FilePlanet giving away World at War beta keys

Attention soldiers: Looking to enlist in the good beta fight of Call of Duty: World at War? According to a slew of tipsters, FilePlanet is offering a limited supply of beta codes to some lucky members beginning today. In order to qualify, players must sign-up for a FilePlanet account or use an existing account -- a free account works, too -- and wait for notification if they've been selected for the Xbox 360 test.

Recently, Treyarch increased the level cap to 24 adding new perks and challenges to the online fray, the developer aims to give its upcoming Pacific-theater, World War II shooter an extra push before it releases to retail this November. Players looking for beta access are urged to register for the contest as soon as possible because codes are going fast. Looking for more on Call of Duty: World at War? I don't see anything on fileplanet's web site about this. I already have a free account. Nothing about it in filepanet's search engine either.

I don't understand this either - I've installed it etc. and have the Fileplanet user on my list but no Beta code yet??

way for fileplanet to not have any sort of explanation on how this works.

Screw this. I don't want to download some crappy messenger program that I'll never use, while I sit around and wait for some pretend person to decide to not even send me an invite. Crappy way to try and get people to use this program.

not to mention there is no "Fileplanet ambassador" There is a "FilePlanet_EU" and a "TeamFilePlanet" ambassador, which is probably what they mean, but are exact directions that hard to make?

Ya, i downloaded and w/e you had to do. That link was actually an email sent out to people that signed up for the IGN newsletter. Or so it seems by reading the text at the bottom. I'm guessing you would of had to get the email directly and not from this link. btw, didn't receive a code from it yet either.

I agree with you 100% offday. Fileplanet's programs and contest suck the big one, I need ignore any and all articles about fileplanet at Xbox360fanboy.com.

This is absolute donkey shat! I did what was asked and I have yet to receive a code. Fileplanet is great and not posting DETAILS on the contest.

I really want a key. Anyone have a spare key they are willing to share with a fellow X3Fer? PM me!! You will be my best friend!

Also, I heard that each key has 2 uses. I'm not sure if this is true. Can anyone confirm this?

Following X3F's links kinda got me no where. I almost installed comrade and you don't need to.

Just go to Fileplanets main page and login. There's a link there and once you validate the code onscreen, they give you a COD beta key.

Nice work though X3F, I'd forgotten to check fileplanet for awhile :)

Unless you are a paying member on fileshare.com, they are not giving out free beta tokens. Now you can go to xbox.com forums and beg for a beta code

This game is great the graphics i feel are better than cod4 as far as color goes and the water looks better.The melee seems to work better as well and the pistols kill better.The single shot rifles need work but the rest of the guns are great.

The maps are nice as well with alot of buildings and dark corners they definetly feel more alive than the cod4 maps.It plays just like cod4 with a different and welcoming environment.

Ill be dumping cod4 for this when it releases its the wwii shooter i have been craving since airborne

damn, I installed the stupid messenger thing yesterday just to get a beta key. I didn't get the link sent to me till 11pm GMT which was no good as I was in bed by then, just got up 7am and surprise surprise they've all gone :-(

it works pefectly, got it in seconds, was surprised to get it so fast,didnt even get emailed just poped up on the browser,all i did was delete the "email1" part on the web adress
