When we hear about games getting leaked early to the public, we often have to wonder where the breakdown in the supply chain occurred. One of those mysteries may have been solved as an employee of game packager Technicolor has been charged with the theft of 900 copies of Fable 2, Gears of War 2 and assorted DVDs.
According to a Memphis police affidavit, Rodney Gray told officers that he "took the games and DVDs to sell." Hey, quick thinking, Rod! Next time, tell them you wanted to get the gamerscore points out of all of the copies before you promptly returned them. Cops are usually really sympathetic to achievement whores. ... Well, more than they are to thieves anyway.

How does one person steal up to 900 games before he is noticed?

I usually slip stolen CD's/DVD's over my cock like a large 100cd spindle.
But slotting the jewel cases into my ass is the tricky part.

"Game packaging worker" translates to: underpaid chump who does nothing else than slip discs off spindles that came from the mastering plant into cases, slides in the cover art, seals the package and laminates the fucker. During that process I would assume some of the discs can get scratched, bent, stuck or other. That's the reason why sometimes discs are upside down in a completely new and sealed case. Some plants have machines to do that but others are more cost-efficient (read: cheaper to start) and have all of that done by hand. So he probably thought that he could remove a quantity of discs and get away with saying they were damaged and had to be thrown away. Why he got carried away no one shall ever be able to explain.
In theory all he would have needed was ONE copy and a smart friend with connections to the underground and he could have sold the copies just as he would have sold the originals. Well, but with 899 less reasons to get caught.

I was hoping it was 9,000 so that I could make a boring, overused, stale internet failchain joke.
So instead I'll just say, "My word, what a scandal!"

Yeah I know. With snake being all old and wrinkly and Sam going through an Emo phase, I'm surprised Garrett hasn't been mentioned at all this gen.

I work for one of the company that staffs that warehouse. (but he wasn't one of ours - we do detailed background checks). It's no surprise that the guy did this and then got caught in the retarded way he did. Typical Memphis-level IQ. Kinda like the guys a few years ago who nabbed a few copies of Halo 3 while it was in production... then proceded to sign into XBox Live. They had the FBI at their front doors within hours.
