I am definitely much more mature than you are here Vegeta, so careful where you throw that stone. 99% of your posts consist of you mocking whoever you're replying to in some sarcastic way. At least I can actually comment on the actual article most of the time, as well as berate people.

Although I must give you credit, you did actually comment on this article. Maybe you're on the road to improvement.

Sarcasm comes with age, calling people babies is for 8 year olds who think they are cool.

Never really cared about this game. If people enjoy it they enjoy it. If they don't, who cares? I'm too busy playing World of Goo to notice anyways. Seriously that game is pretty fucking awesome.

World of Goo is nothing short of brilliant. The physics are incredible, and music is just so charming. This is a must buy for anybody.

By proving that she's maturely able to judge a game based on its merits, and not fall into the trap of appealing to all the people whose e-penises feel threatened by the game's existence?

What world do you live in?

Anyone defending this game has also lost all credibility, nevermind how little they had to begin with. I know it's a nintendo game mr. khan, but you don't have to defend it. Really...no one will care or call your loyalty out if you say this looks shitty. You don't have to be a nintendo tool, not with this.

I'm doing this more in my capacity of alleviating misunderstandings rather than my capacity as a Nintendo defender

I facepalmed myself when i saw the E3 showing, but i figured something was up. Nintendo's casual titles, at least, have been quality endeavors. That this looked pointless and sounded bad didn't make sense, so i waited to see more

Eventually i was validated. Some previews showed the depth of ability for people to remix, and the ability to make the game sound good with proper input

It isn't perfect, by far, and its overpriced for what you're getting. But it is misunderstood, and the proof of that has come around neatly.

Remember Mr. Khan, in Tmac's crazy little world. He obviously has more credibility than someone who actually decided to get off the bandwagon, and give the game a try. That's how awesome Tmac is. You must never forget that.

Isn't that Tmacs point?

It's misunderstood?

So everyone is so dumb they can't understand the brilliant majesty that is Wii music?

The point is that the "game" is a tech demo along the lines of Wii Sports and it should be criminal to charge people $50 for this "game". If the game is not easy to get from anyone's point of view then it fails.

Vegeta

What bandwagon?

Seems many here and in certain media outlets are still drinking the kool-aid. So, if someone likes this game they are not on the Wii bashing "bandwagon"? That is to imply a grand conspiracy from anyone who gave it a low review based on "its merits".

You can't have it both ways.

That's not what I meant. Nor am I implying that any review that gives this game a low score is obviously on the "bandwagon" What I do mean is that I'm happy that there are people who are looking at this game, and that not all of the reviews consist of people shitting on this game simply because it's not directed toward the core gamer.

Credibility? I think I read that wrong, seeing as it almost sounded like you were stating fact. Yet, I just realized you -must- have meant that she had lost credibility with you! Which is completely fine for you to choose who you give personal credibility to.

Now, if you were saying lost all credibility, with everyone. Well - who are you again? Right, you aren't me and I don't really agree.

All I can think is - thank god someone approached it from a different angle - so I can read reviewers rather then being content with some metacritic homogenization.

Haggard, that was AWESOME.

As for me (since my comments will be more visible here) I think Wii Music is a rental, at least. I doubt I'd really enjoy owning it and my family would only play it once--as they do all Wii games--but I can't let this pass without trying it. At least for few hours or so it sounds like an intriguing experience.

Would be interesting seeing how you would play 60+ instruments in a game. Not sure if I would buy, but try, I would! A great concept, but not targeted to everyone.

I don't really care about this game, but then again, I don't care to play real instruments, or guitar hero for that matter. But I can appreciate them for what they are.

That's why I don't get what for fucks sake is up with some people and Wii Music. Seriously guys. What the Fuck? Can someone please explain to me exactly what it is about Wii Music that makes people go absolutely insane? For every newspost on it, anywhere, they're here like clockwork, OH NOOOOOOOOOO IT'S WII MUSIC NOOOOOOOOOOOOO AAAAAAAAAARGHHHHH THE PAAAAAAAIN IT HUUUUUUURTSSSSSSSS USSSSSSS!!!!!~

Is it butthurt fanboys that have been rubbing their hands ever since its proper unveiling, seeing this piece of very unorthodox software as the perfect opportunity to unleash their waterfalls of pent up bitter frustration?

What the fuck, people.

I am not a casual player. I am in my late 20s. I own both Guitar Hero and Wii music. I purchased the game after reading all the negative reviews, and put many hours into it.

Is it a rhythm game? No. Is it fun? Yes. I haven't put it down since.

Not that Nintendo cares.

I love Rock Band, but I also love this game.
Go figure?
I dunno, maybe it's because I'm the kind of guy who appreciates music and doesn't play M-rated games, but everyone else in my family loves it too.
My only complaint is the Track list. It would be more awesome if it was more along the lines of Daigasso! Band Brothers, but it is still very fun. It's more for music enthusiasts though.
