I guess it depends. Having already played through the original, I'm not sure I'd want the exact same thing on the Wii. Now a new game or one of the more recent ones, that might be cool, but just BS1 or BS2 - not so sure. It's kind of like Sam & Max Season 1. Cool game, but I can get the whole thing for PC for $10 @ Wal-mart. It's hard to justify paying $30 for the Wii version.

I really like the idea of some adventure games coming for the Wii as it has a lot of potential for those (like Zak & Wiki). I am just not crazy about re-makes of games that are starting to get a little old.

Make that a NEW Broken Sword game or forget it. I've played all the earlier versions and part 3 was horrible. I don't want to pay money for all these remakes when I can get them virtually free with ScummVM.

The grammar of this article raised an interesting question: how exactly is Ubisoft pronounced? Oobisoft or Yuubisoft?

I always pronounce it the second way, so when i read "an Ubisoft" it kinda jarred me.

It's "ooobisoft," as far as I know. That's the way I've always heard it pronounced.

Broken sword worked fantastically on the DS thanks to Scummvm.

I did like part 3 but it was quite inconsistent, which for a story based game is almost a killer. Haven't played 4.

i TOTALLY agre with meist3r. either NEW broken sword or they can say bye-bye to my wallet! remakes are pretty fun but (as my best friend said) only if their done right.

The Latin word "ubi" which means "Where" is pronounced Ooobi.

I personally assumed it was taken from the Latin word, so I always pronounced it as such.

Actually it's yuubisoft, "ubi" short from the english word ubiquitous (which in turn comes from the latin ubiquitas pronounced oohbi, but let's not go there...) as explained here: http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2007/09/17/how-to-pronounce-ubisoft-the-official-explanation/

I seriously hope that this isn't a Wii version of the 4th Broken Sword game (The Angel of Death.)

It was so horrible it made 3 look fantastic by comparison.

me and the missus buy quest games cheap in bargain bins at electronic stores and I forget which one it was but one of the broken swords (3 or 4?) must have been over printed cause it ended up being shovelware under TWO additional titles with diffrent box art and everything.

hated learning that the hard way..

with our luck THATS whats going to be ported to wii. heh.
