X3F TV -- Fable II Pub Games gold and Xbox.com item merge tutorial

Has any one had problems with not getting the DLC token with the purchase of the LE? apparently some have, joystiq has an article. Just curious if that has been a problem, and if so, where did you get the game? They said they had only been informed of it happening at GS.

What about the "exploit" that was in the XBLA Pub Games.. did this have any repercussions if you used it and then transfer the money?

Anyone?

Also, I just picked up my LE but had to go to work. Was I supposed to get a token from the place I purchased it or is it in the game??

As far as the Fable2.com items; can you get all items or is it (one of the crowns or 1000 gold)? I've done the gold but went and got the chicken costume later on. Can I go back and get the other items too? I know, I asked the question twice two different ways, just want to make sure it is understood.

Is anyone else having issues with Hero's Tale? I put in my age, hit enter, and then....nothing. It just sits there. I've tried it on both explorer and firefox, and on my laptop, as well as my work computer...

it doesnt load up for me, hero's tale that is.

anyone know if the items they earned in pub games...not the gold transfered over...cuz i merge my hero just fine with all my gold, but no cutlass, pistol or other items I unlocked

I merged my fable 2 pub games gold from pub games to my hero and recieved all my gold but i have not found any of the special items that i won in the pub games does anyone know where they are? also i have the LE of Fable 2 and i have the energy sword and master chief armor but i do not know were the special dungon is and i do not know were the special item is.. does anyone have any idea..?

Hmm... I'm getting an error message when I try to sync this episode with my iPod Touch:

All the other X3F videos work. Has anything changed regarding the way this video was created?

Your items merge when you merge a character in Fable 2....don't do it in pub games. If you did it in pub games and need your items....

1.make a new character in pub games
2.Go back to Fable 2 to a game master
3.Merge with the new pub games character
4. Congrats you now have your items.

I did the three crowns and the chicken kick online and got everything your supposed to in the Hero's Hall chest. If anyone is still wondering if the gold glitch in Pub Games causes your character to change or do some unholy evil to destroy your character upon merging, nothing happens. I got all the gold and all my gear once I went into a pub and sat down with a game master. I had the option of merging characters and did so and got it all right there and then with no changes to my hero. I went around and bought up all the properties and rented them out and am making a fortune every five min. You can make loads of cash doing this rental method, go back to the game master and merge your cash into a character in Pub Games and hold it there like a bank for when you want to start a new game as another hero. When you start the new hero, just go to any game master and merge again and start with loads of cash for whatever you want. I think of Pub Games as a savings and loan bank.
