There must be a side quest that involves brutally killing a cow or something.

That was my first thought as well. Perhaps even the ability to casually slaughter cows could be construed as insensitive.

Was Diablo 2 released in India?

Please try to stop being so sensitive!

I will also try.

Thanks.

You might be just a bit sensitive to this sort of thing if a massive toxic industrial disaster instantly killed over 3,000 people in your hometown.

Wiki "Bhopal disaster." And instead of trying to stop being so sensitive, start trying to understand a situation before throwing your 2 cents in.

It's a work of fiction man. I'm not trying to come across as insensitive to such disasters and death, but some people get their panties in a bundle over the stupidest shit.

NEWMAN: I still have forces in the Ukraine!

KRAMER: (laughs) the Ukraine! The Ukraine is weak. It is feeble. I think it is time to put the hurt on Ukraine.

FUR-HAT MAN: I come from Ukraine. Don't say Ukraine weak.

KRAMER: Look, pal, it's just a game.

FUR-HAT MAN: Hurting Ukraine is game to you? How about i take your game board and SMASH!

I'm just wondering why Kotaku and now Joystiq is reporting on this when I bet hardly any from India read these blogs, only thing that happens is the people here make outsourcing, Bollywood and cow jokes. : /

I'm betting the reason is because in the Fallout series, the cows are mutated and have two heads and called Brahmins. I'm sure they will find a way to import it or just pirate the game anyways.

well I saw that Gears 2 is up on bit torrent downloading sites now so I wouldn't be suprised if some don't already have it.

I saw a guy on Justin TV playing Gears 2 last night so I had to check and it was there. Not sure how easy it is to mod or flash a 360 but I would rather just buy it outright. I use to rip movies and music now and then but with fully features streaming sights so popular and with the PS3 not supporting Flash player 9 there is no need to even do that.

If cows are that sacred then it's probably the right thing to do. No point in pissing off an entire region and userbase. Those who want it can simply import it.

Kindly spell check yourself before becoming all righteous on others.

I just think it's hilarious how non-Western religions can cause this kind of stuff and get off scot free, when a single complaint from a Western religious leader of this kind of stuff results in piles of scorn heaped on the complainer. Ain't no hatred like self-hatred.

That's because the western religious nuts are doing it in a place where there's many sensible people. The majority of the others doing it in other places are religious nuts as well, so there's no one to call them on it. That...and the fact that anyone who did would be killed.

Bass Masterson -

The thing is that no religous leaders were calling for the game to be banned. In both cases of LBP and Fallout 3 the companies made a choice not to release the content. There was no outside pressure from any religous leaders.

Yeah I know and I made the notation ... meant to say now instead of not ... surfthechannel.com is getting tons of play now on my PS3 ... They have new movies, tv shows, UFC PPV and everything else

Its prettu much a fully featured web browser now. Could still use some other helpful additions but its great. For example, the icon to make the movie full screen will not activate within the PS3 web browser. Just have to manually enlarge the picture with the zoom feature.

I don't know if there is one that can be directly doenloaded from the PS3's web-browser but I know where to get the newest stuff which can be transferrefd.

Like I said earlier ... I just stream it from surfthechannel.com

No need to DL it if you can simply stream it

This has nothing to do with America becoming liberal. In case you didn't know in India the cow is very sacred and in Fallout 3 there are two headed mutated cows. This was the choice of the publisher to not release the game in that region. Has nothing to do with America as a whole.
