American PSN Store update for October 23rd

A bumper update today. Just like the EU update, there's a whole bunch of add-on content available for all sorts of games. Penny Arcade Adventures also makes its PSN debut alongside Prince of Persia Classic. There are also a couple of decent demos (unlike the EU update) and some DLC for Rock Band and its inferior clone. Where's the demos for Prince of Pesia and Penny Arcade?

360 versions had demos...

if i had a chance to try out PoP, i wouldn't have bought it. i was hoping for a beefed up 2d (like sfII HD rmx) version not a ps2-3d-graphics version with 2d gameplay. next time i'll do my research.

New Releases section gets updated last. Just go to "View all by title" and then the letter of the game you want.

Why don't you like Guitar Hero? I mean, yeah the 'clone' part I guess is accurate, but you couldn't have expected them not to add drums after rock band..

Go into view all titles and they will be there. The games get listed in the New Release section last but get put into their respected alphabetical sections earlier.

All the HMX games have been better than the Neversoft/Acti games.

GH 1 and GH 2 were better than GH3 and GH:A
RB 1 and RB 2 are better than GH3 and GH:A
So far the pattern is holding up in HMX's favor.

From what I've seen on youtube, RB1 and RB2 are still better than GH:WT.

Search your feelings...Guitar Hero is no longer king. Rock Band is far superior. You know it to be true.

well konami had the first guitar game i ever saw, guitar freaks i think, and you see how people are taking to their latest offering.

Extremely disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a PSP store update, they just released it and already they are skipping it.

Quite frankly - this is horrible update for those with a PSP. Sony, did you forget that you just gave us access to the wifi store - how about putting something in it each week :)

Mind you, I also think its funny to release Guitar Hero World Tour material when the game isnt released yet in Canada (it comes out next week). Oh well, poor update all around - typical of Sony.

It comes out on Sunday. By releasing it on the PSN today, it means the DLC will be available to those who pick the game up when it launches. Otherwise, they'd have to wait until next Thursday before getting the supposed launch DLC.

I'm currently downloading the R2 beta. I cant believe i got in! Its pretty lame that Yoda is $5(I don't want him on the ps3 at all) and i really hope Namco-Bandai doesn't make downloadable characters for NUNS this expensive.

i got accepted too!! i cant wait to try it.
