Fable II players report game breaking glitch

Loved the game and the graphics, finished it in one day though...a litle easier than I expected. The only problem we have found and our friends also is the A button during the game is not always doing what it is suppose to. Now I am playing just to find all the gargoyles and keys and whatever else there is. Thank goodness for the pub games also..I could buy anything...Yes

i am unfortinate enough to hit a compleatly difrent game breaker bug, ive got the bar games and have played it a bit before getting fable 2, ive merge my bar games save with my fable 2 save so i can get my items, and it worked fine, now sip for about 12 hours worth of gameplay time, imm in bloodstone (pirate town) and desided to play ga game of keystone at the pub, firts thing , where my charicters title should be it said _NONAME_, i fought it was wierd put kept on playing anyway, after a bit i cashed out and left, when i got back to the game field the game started to give me the first bar games item...... so i took it and another one poped up, and another one and another one...... after about 2 minutes i relise its not stopping, so i turned off the 360 and back on again and reloaded, and guess what, it started giving the item again.... there is not much i can do, and nothing works so all for what i know my game is over :(

I Beat Fable 2 and here are the Glitches I have encountered:

(Glitch 1)
- I played co-op in someones elses childhood so I loast my 1.5 million along with all experience, I did gett to keep my houses.. Along with this glitch my player on Pub Games was wiped clean, but I still have every achievement.

-another thing with pub games is i never recieved my "unique" earned items.

(Glitch 2)
- This glitch deals with the furnature seller, some peoples games like mine will have a furnature sellar who will never get any stock in..EVER so i can not upgrade the houseing, and the dealer in bloodstone has vanished, and not come back.

(Glitch 3)
- I have noticed that sometimes after awaking from rest, the game will stay in a "slow motion effect" for a few minutes.

(Glitch 4)
- I have constantly have the shadow drop down at the top of the sreen that mentions upgrading your furniture, and it is almost always there.

(Glitch 5)
- Dogs fur may take several minutes to change, my dog is golden but sometimes it will remain dark brown, i guess because it has not loaded fully or something, but this is minor.

Somethings I did not like about the Game:

-You cannot choose save spots, or save twice for one hero.

-Main story line too short

-Not as in depth as we where promised, I have seen the same thing over and over, no unique clothing, guns, ect.

-NO BOWS!

-Only 2 large towns

-Chest are full of junk

-In the game i have never have protected sex with my only wife many times i did this, and had no stds. But i go off for ten years on the spire and come back and then get a std... did she get lonely or something...lol or does everyone get stds in this game...


However this is a great game. I love the Fable games.

my game had 2 major glitches i found:
1. when passing through "winter lodge" for a second time, the house model did not load and when i approached where the house should be, the game loaded the house on top of me and made me endlessly fall in a screen of emptiness and i only saw my character and the sun.
2. my game got stuck on the loading screen going into "fairfax gardens" after coming out of "lady grey's tomb". the game didnt freeze, as the messages that appear at the bottom would change as it normally does.

also i have a report from a friend where she got suck in the "falling" pose when she jumped off. also, she got the same problem with the house in "winter lodge" not loading at all

I have a bug where the "skip conversation" thing will not go away. I went into the third heroes room and i can not pick up his seal thing for him. So i am locked in his room until who knows. Anyone have anwsers?

same thing, but after i did the rescuing charlie quest and now im totally pissed off.

This is BS!!!! mad hours into the game ( like 6 or 7 hours ) and the skip conversation glitch happened now anything that has to do with the A button doesn't work unless i do some crazy moves to do it. I'm definitely not starting over I'm so pissed to the point i wanna sell the game(and not mention the glitch of course >=) .........Lionhead you truly disappointed me =..(

i have this glich too except it happened after the "Rescuing Charlie" quest and will not go away and i will not restart. Lionhead plese respond to this glich.

I can't use my weapons, spells, or even run. I just bought the Cemetery Mansion and got the key to Shelley tomb and past by a person offering a job. As they were speaking I walked away to follow the golden trail to the tomb and now nothing. I can only walk and use expressions.

Yeah, I'm definitely having my first nasty bug with the game and I'm almost finished too. Pretty much when I came back after doing the 'dark seal' quest for Reaver, it keeps me in the "you can't finish until the scene has ended" nonsense, so now I can't use my weapons/interact and unfortunately I saved over thinking it was a minor bug and I just needed to reboot the game, but now it's stuck like this. Lionshead REALLY needs to cough up a quick patch or something because from what I'm seeing this is pissing a good deal of people off.

There are three rules to remember with any game:

1. Save often.
2. Don't save if you're glitched.
3. Stop crying.

I've got a game-breaker black screen...Can't go back to Westcliff to finish two open missions, every time I try to travel there (through any means, fast travel or walk over), the console blackscreens and locks tight. Have to power-cycle. Flushing the HDD cache doesn't help.

Not amusing, after paying sixty bucks for a game.

I purchased Fable2 the day it was released in UK
I was so looking forward to it having played Fable and The lost Chapters and loved them.
The game is absoloutley fantastic and i have got to the last level and have been buying every property in sight with hundreads of thousands of pounds mounting up.But thats all good if you can play, i on the other hand cant. i experienced a hell of alot of bugs and glitches in the game, e.g one of my children being stuck in a corner not interacting or moving and one of my wives dissapearing but the stats still saying she was there and Happy with the relationship, house etc

But as i was saying i was happy to put up with this because i was enjoying it so much and could work around it and then all of a sudden when i was doing the last few quest before going into the last Boss quest, "i cant Move" yes you heard me correctly i couldnt move at all. after alot of button bashing i learned that if i hold one or both triggers i can move but cannot interact with anything as no other buttons work.

so to sum it up my brand new "Fable2" is sitting in the back of my drawer in its box because there is nothing i can do with it.i COULD start a new game, but i am scared it will happen again and i will loose all my gold, proopertys etc.

just to add i am having no issues with my wireless controllers in any other game.

I've come across a glitch that's keeping me from continuing the story,or entering any more quest,.It happend shortly after I saved the mage.Hold "A" action stoped working,demon doors don't work,villagers don't react or move,and the dog dosen't obay any commands.I think It sucks that they pushed it out the door before fixing it,it would have been worth the what.

I've been having a problem with one of the Assassination Jobs. I found the target but instead of killing him, I brought him to the temple of shadow and did him in that way. But, It did not complete the job, and he is no where to be found in game (Obviously) When I use the Map to port to him it just wants to bring me back the sacrificial chamber where he was killed. x_X I can't get anymore Assassin quests now.

I have just beaten the Crucible for the third time to get some XP and right after I won, the game brought me back outside. But now my charactor can NOT MOVE!! I cant do anything about it

has anyone had this glitch before??

love the game ok, but the bugs are appalling i have found dozens to many to relate here, the latest one was the graveyard reanimation of lady gray i found all her parts but when i took her head back the guy was not in the basement i looked down from the broken floor so i would not get locked in,i found him walking in circles in another part of the cemetery 50 feet in the air also lady gray was there too and i had not even given him the head yet,so my game has come to a screaching halt,i am getting mighty tired of these glitchy games.what do game testers do? do they not see these glitches.i am up to at least a 100 in this game.these games are not cheap where is my value for money

Funny, I can't find anyone who is having anywhere near the same problems I am. I completed the spire quest, went to go and do the blind date quest after I found bloodstone etc. And during the blind date quest after I go ruperts photo I went and tried to do some other quest, which I couldn't. So I went back to the blind date quest got a few contacts, boys and girls. And it wouldn't lead me back to Giles. So I went there myself and they didn't even acknowledge my presence? Confused? Now I got 20,000 renown and tried to speak to the hero of skill, didn't acknowlegde me either? Didn't even look at me? Then I tried to do the pirate quest in Bloodstone also, the guy there doesn't fucking notice me, won't even talk to me? I tried to do the wraithmarsh quest and it won't even lead me to it. Takes me as far as bowerstone market, and nothing. No gold trail, no hocus pocus dudes. I also tried to love hurts quest and that seems to be bugged too. I mean everyone knows who I am, I'm pretty famous. The people in bloodstone didn't even talk, they were all silent when I first went there. But after I went there a second time they all interacted with me. Confused much? I've come so far, my will is nearly 4/5 on everything, and alot of my attributes are maxed out. I've done shit loads and don't wanna have to start again. I feel like this is a huge waste and big mistake on Lionhearts behalf, if they can't sort this out then they better expect to loose some value on their behalf and on the behalf of their reliability. This sucks, I can't do any quests. Help anyone?

Hey guys... My copy started bugging like everyones so i left it for a while and restarted, i wasnt far into the game so it wasnt that big of a hassle. Then it started to bug out like crazy, not loading up any pages, infact when i tried to load my file it would just freeze then and there, i never go more then 3 minutes into the game before it would die on me... and now for the kicker ladies and gentlemen... i put the disk in and it just tells me that its dirty and i need to clean it... soft cloth people.

I did that about 20 times and out of that the furthest it let me into the game was 30 seconds before failure once more... So fairly sure i trump all of you guys on screw ups huh? or has someone else experienced this???

I got to "Bloodstone Assualt" while following Reaver i am unable to take out my sword, gun nor use any of my spells. Thinking that this was just part of the story line i went ahead and saved and reloaded. Still unable to do anything, i went ahead and followed the yellow line, while the enimes are oblivious to me. I come across the planked up door unable to go through it because i cant take out any weapon. I am really upset with this glitch, and hope that Lionhead can go ahead and patch this problem so that i am able to finish up the game!!

mine is a real pain in the ass.but it isnt like any of yours it just freezes.when i press the big x in middle of the controller nothing happens and it does it like ever 5mins or so.i turned multiplayer orbs of and it runes for a lil longer b4 crashing.

Ever since i went to Bloodstone and talked to the mayor guy i cant do anything. people dont see me, i cant take out my sword or gun, no spells no nothin. i cant talk to people or anything. its all bad
