Good luck fellas, but I wonder if this "preview" is just temporary. Kinda like a Beta.

Well, even if it is temporary, there's only about half a month until we get the finished update. So it doesn't really matter. :)

i'm not one to argue the importance of reading comprehension, but "New Xbox Experience BETA signups open." notice any word that stands out there?

and actually, the sign ups are closed now anyway.

I fucking RRoD'd a few days ago! arrrgh! (older console, hopefully they'll replace the innards with the new chipset stuff)
I'd sign up for this, but I'll probably get my xbox back by the time NXE is out, so there's no need now.

I got an error message too. Then I hit continue and it prompted me to sign in. Then I was able to go through the process in Firefox just fine.

"An object that you requested, or that was needed to process your request could not be found," the webpage says, but the title bar is just smiling away, saying "Thank You!"

I've tried it on both IE and Firefox, and i still get the exact same message:
"An object that you requested, or that was needed to process your request could not be found."

This sucks, i wanna get this thing early for whatever it's worth!

I wonder if Netflix subscribers will be more likely to get in considering they'll be able to test out all the features given to them... I could only hope, haha.

LOL Microsoft hates Mac users :) Safari, Firefox, Opera, and IE5 all do not work on the registration site. Oh well, I don't have a problem waiting for the full experience.

Well, hoping I get in.

I think they're looking for Netflix subscribers so I lie and said I was one. ;)

If I am selected it'd be a good time to become a Netflix subscriber.

The last Microsoft feedback thing I did netted me free copies of Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit and Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, so I am game.

I figured out the issue, MS has stopped taking applications for the beta and testers will be selected on 10/27/08. You can read this at http://www.gamestooge.com/2008/10/24/nxe-beta-signups-active/
