I had no idea there were two Chocobo games coming out. Why are there two Chocobo games coming out? Why do two Chocobo games even exist?

When are Square going to announce TWEWY 2 (or something in the same vein)?

Why do two Chocobo games even exist?

They saw that you put them at the bottom of your publisher list and needed to exact revenge.

if i had to make that choice (which i won't) I would probably go with Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon since I don't have the Wii version and I already own the first part of Chocobo Tales. But I want to get both ^^

I'm goin with Mystery Dungeon. The minigame series, while kinda fun, really isn't my thing.

BOTH.

All will succumb to the powers of Chocobo in every incarnation.

Dungeon, because it's different than the first one.

I'm addicted to Mystery Dungeon games (or "roguelikes") after playing Shiren the Wanderer and both of the Izuna games (which were not Mystery Dungeon games, but were basically the same thing, so they count). So I'm all about Chocobo's Dungeon, as a lover of cute characters from Final Fantasy AND ridiculously crazy dungeon crawls.

Also, minigames aren't my thing.

After playing through both Chocobo tales (DS) and Chocobo Mystery Dungeon (Wii) I will absolutely go for the DS series. I just found the Mystery Dungeon game to be too repetitive. Considering the aggrivating voice acting in Mystery Dungeon and the DS game is way more fun to play.

I'd take the roguelike because card battlers to me outright suck. You're too stuck being dependent on what luckily comes up in the stack to do your bidding and I prefer to have control of the situation. This is the same reason I also hate games like Advance Wars/Fire Emblem, those 'tactical' RPGs where you sit back and hope the AI isn't dumber than their AI.
