Here in the UK we have to add far cry 2 and dead space to last also, fuck it, just buy everything and masterbate with all of the unopened boxes laying around you on the bed.

Any I am so happy I could wank, going to by them all and wank myself raw.

Possibly, monday morning blues?

Just to add, I will be purchasing these tiles (already have Dead Space, got one of the ultra limited editions for the 360, even though i don't own a 360) purchased dead space for the PS3 too, (along with a 5.1 home theate system for maximum scary sound fx)purchased far cry 2 for PC, I have LBP on pre order. and the collectors edition of fallout 3 for PC.

now excuse me for upsetting anyone on a monday morning, but I am extremely enthusiastic about gaming and I am sure you can tell that all the above swag costs money, supporting the developers/publishers (hear that EA)? so If I am so excited I wanna spank my munkey, then I will, if you wanna vote me down for sharing this with you then please be my guest, no ill will or bad feeling towards anyone here.

It could also be the extreme lack of proofing, the horrifying grammar, or the excitingly bad spelling. My vote goes to the contest-like practice of seeing how many times you could fit the work "wank" into the post though.

I can't decide what to get fallout for! I've got 360 and PS3, and I am also going to upgrade my computer in the next few weeks! What should I do?

Only 360 and PC are getting are getting DLC apparently. Im getting it on 360 because I like to play on the couch, but many would say PC because of the mods. Its a tough choice.

PC > 360 > PS3 for Fallout 3.

I'd say hold off getting Fallout 3 until you've upgraded your PC, and maybe buy another game (I suggest LBP) to keep you going in the mean time.

If you know your computer will handle it and you are not a cheevo whore, get it for pc as I bet there will be some good modding for it that you won't get elsewhere. Plus it is 10 bucks cheaper. Also, it is still a games for windows so you can sign in to xbox live and talk to friends and see what they are doing. Not a bad idea. Actually, come to think of it, GfW usually have cheevos also, plus computers don't RRoD...

Personally, i just don't enjoy playing games on the PC anymore.
Theres something about playing it on that big humming box, and a monitor that reminds me of being in frigging work all day, that just doesn't compare with sitting on your armchair while playing on a nice big HD TV.
Maybe someone has a nice setup, but i still seem to enjoy the console life more these days.

Games for Windows label doesn't mean you get achievements and logging in to Xbox Live and stuff, I think the only games that have that so far are Halo 2 and Gears...

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's 'gimped graphically', but there is difference if you're looking for it. It's still looks good, just not quite as good.

Personally, I'll be picking up Fallout 3 for the PS3, simply because my laptop can't run it well enough and I don't own my own 360.

why the he'll would the graphics be gimped on the graphically superior system? I'm not a fanboy, I actually hate fanboys, and without backing a statement like that up, it sounds fanboyish. Do you have a source on that?where did you hear the ps3 version is gimped graphically?

Uh, those videos Fenix posted are kinda misleading and don't lend themselves for a fair comparison at all. Video capture software can slow down games on the PC, and a lot of people play with sub-par specs.

360 graphically superior to the PC? Come on.

Yes you can, but I've never played any game that has done it, so I can't vouch for how it works.

They arent misleading. A lot of people play on rigs with this kind of quality game.

Out of 100K PC gamers, only about 10-20K of those are playing on Ultra super duper high. The rest are choppy city.

Out of 100K 360/PS3 gamers ALL of them are playing on a steady framerate/special effect all on.

Shall I compare COD4 PC to 360/PS3? :)

Im tired of all this PC l33t crap. We get it, the PC is POTENTIALLY better than 360/PS3 but in most cases its NOT!!!!!!1!!1ONE!!!UNO!!!11!

I got no problem buying games on Xbox over PC sometimes, because of what Fenix said. You know what you are getting into, and it's usually really smooth and well designed for the system. I'll usually get multiplayer games on the 360 anyway, since my friends have 360s and don't really game on PCs.

However, I absolutely love going back and replaying games on the PC after an upgrade, and putting up everything to high and playing it like I've never played it before.

Considering that consoles are limited to 1080p at a maximum and a PC can go to higher resolutions - there's no way in hell that a PC is lower graphically to a console.

+ Free online play
+ Mods
+ Free DLC

PC FTW

And no one should even try to compare the visuals or framerate of a 360 game running at 1080i/1080p versus a PC running at a higher res but being more choppy; that's an apples-to-oranges comparison at best.

@Fenix

I am currently looking at a 360 controller, which is plugged into my PC. If the game has a Games for Windows banner on the top, a 360 controller works with it immediately. A lot of games that don't have the banner also work like this. If they don't you can download xpadder and force it in about 5 minutes (currently doing that with the PC version of PoP: Sands of Time).

Plus, you can plug a PC into your HDTV and enjoy games rendered at 1080p with anti-aliasing and better textures. Like someone before posted, the comparison videos are unfair because video capture software slows games down to a crawl, whereas console gameplay is captured using an external gamebridge or something similar.

Also that's bullshit - you don't have to max out a game to enjoy good graphics on it. You could buy a computer right now for under $500 that would max out games the 360 can only run at 600p.

Out of 100K PC gamers, approximately 100K of them don't make up statistics and another 100K of them don't buy games they can't run..

I says, do whatever you want and choose any platform of your choice. If you want to play Fallout 3 without any interest on the achievements, go with the PS3. Otherwise, choose the 360.

On my personal view, I'd go with the PC version... if I had a good PC because this one I'm using is pure and complete shit, although it still runs fine, as long as it doesn't freeze. I don't know why, but pointing and clicking the mouse on FPS games with a PC is much easier for me, and it has lots of goodies. This doesn't mean Im against controllers, I know how to use them, but after playing FPSs with a PC in a cafe I rarely go to, it feels much comfy for me to play that way.

Those were my two cents.

I don't know. By my bets, I think some people consider those kind of questions stupid. Be careful though, sometimes on this site, retaliating with a question or statement involving your heart rep might lead you to getting more neg repped than now, so I'd reccomend that you don't say anything like that again.

Then again, I could give a rat's ass about reputation of any kind, whether it be hearts or green boxes.
