Well ya, what does it matter unless your new to the series and are interested in seeing some gameplay footage before you invest 70$ into said game. Verrrry Shifty indeed.

It's not coming out here untill Thursday, but that's just odd. I think it's because the rating was changed from Teen(16+) to Mature(18+), but the trailers tate that it's a Teen.

Well unless your in Jersey like me and its freaking snowing. Therefore the videos are all I have of the game until it stops and I can drive to Gamestop to get my copy. Or i could just keep playing Gears like I have been in anticipation of Gears 2.

as a matter of fact im sure someone will post fallout 3 over there i find it funny that there wanting these pulled,they cant stop everyone from putting it up its too late there are 1000s of people that upload things

I love how the notice is worded to suggest that fan sites and media sites are obligated by ESRB guidelines. They are not. The publishers are. The publishers are obligated to remove materials from the channel if they misrepresent the game's ratings. The media are under no such obligation.

My opinion is that this event, like the posters in the Metro station, and like hot-coffee, etc, are all super cheap marketing campaigns which are only possible now because of gaming news blogs that report on everything that happens in the industry.

Head scratcher? Yes. But the more you try to figure it out, the more you are thinking about their product, and the more likely you are to send your friend a link to the story.

Smells like BS. Anyone else think that?
