It's been awhile since we last reported on GTi Club+ -- roughly more than two months to be exact. Konami's PSN arcade-racer remake is closing the gap between now and its release date, and will be out just in time for some pre-Christmas racing. It'll be available for download off the PlayStation Store on December 4 for £9.99 (roughly €12.99 for other European countries).
While a North American date and price haven't been set yet, we estimate that the title shouldn't cost more than $14.99 and would be out around the same time. The game is being developed by Sumo Digital, makers of other PS3/PSP titles: Sega Superstar Tennis, Go! Sodoku and TOCA Race Driver 2.

How are we getting ripped off? Forgetting exchange rates (Which is about $1.50 to the £, meaning it's just about accurate if that is the US price), £9.99 is a bargain for that!

Live rates at 2008.10.28 14:39:16 UTC
1.00 GBP = 1.56213 USD
United Kingdom Pounds United States Dollars
1 GBP = 1.56213 USD 1 USD = 0.640150 GBP
Looks like Sony's price is reasonably close to me

Just to be clear, the only confirmed price is the UK pounds. The Euro and Dollar amounts are my estimates based off previous PSN releases and exchange rates.

This happens every time a new game hits the PSN, people compare the USD and GBP prices wrongly.
The conversion rate is never accurate for starters, you'll find the perfect conversion rate, which is say 2.0/0.5 however banks will never offer that rate, they always trade with some room to allow for movement, so the rates arent entirely accurate, but close enough i guess.
But the biggest problem is people seem to forget VAT, UK charge 17.5%, EU ranges upto about 25% maybe higher in places, and US i think varies between around 6-9%
So if they want near identical profit from every region, without bias, then if UK government steals more from a sale, they need to price it higher to cover that.
Im not saying we dont get ripped off left right and center, far from it, but people need to know wtf they're talking about before they start making idiotic comments about how they're getting ripped off, when the facts are its cheaper for us than the US, and they're even taking less profit after tax too if my heads screwed on correctly today.

TROPHIES??? No buy if not. The dev's have had plenty of time to implement them.

I'll be picking this one up on day one. I can remember spending fortunes playing this in the arcades when it originally came out many many years ago. Nothing special by todays standards but good fun to pass the time if you don't fancy getting to involved in a game.

Sumo also developed the excellent Outrun 2 and 2006 games for Sega.

Yes. They are very highly skilled devs in making FUN games. Let's hope that if we all buy this, Sega will get them to work on a XBLA/PSN version of Outrun, or a new Daytona. We can but hope...
