Wow. This looks awesome. Sucks that I have to pay an extra $10 for a headset that I don't need (and is of the new, inferior design).

An extra $10? I thought that wireless controllers were $50? I don't shop at Wal-Mart, so if their controllers are normally $40 for wireless, call me surprised.

I like the white d-pad and black shoulder buttons, but the controller design is not to my liking.

To be fair, some retailers (like Amazon) are selling wireless controllers for around $40, while others (like Best Buy) are sticking to the $50 pricing.

You're not paying extra. It's the same price as all other wireless controllers, but this one comes with a headset.

I personally like the look of the white d pad. Not to keen on the art, though. I'll be picking a couple of these up for some modding action.

the red controllers only come WITH the battery pack.. so it seems like you didn't search very far considering its in the same box as the controller.

Why do the custom Xbox360 controllers (Halo ones also), look like complete garbage? Do they commission 5th grade art-class students for this crap?

I didn't care much for the Halo 3 controllers but I am liking the directions they are going here with this one.

Screw the ART and screw the headset... how about selling a god damn controller with a digital (not sure if anyone even remembers what the 'D' in d-pad stands for anymore) paddle that actually is usable on games like STREET FIGHTER!

All these new colors, schemes and packages and I've YET to see one improvement since release in this controllers otherwise flawless design... a horrible D-Pad!!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. What ever happened to that fixed one they were going to ship with that soccer game?

Supposedly the Hori third party controller is better for dpad stuff, but it's incredibly hard to find it...

That Hori stick looks nice but honestly, for me, a solid d-pad is what I play best on.

Street Fighter for the Super Nintendo was absolutely my favorite to play (sore thumb and all) because of the controller. I know what sounds stupid to a lot of arcade enthusiasts but hey, it's what worked best for me.

Not only should they make a new controller with a better Dpad, but they should also make an alternate controller with the left analog and dpad swapped for each other. Even if the fixed the dpad, it would be in an awkward place for those fighting games.

@ANTHOLOGY,

As a fighting game fan, let me tell you... the Hori stick is the way to go even if they ever fix the d-pad, it's made of pure awesome.

I want my black WIRED 360 controller along with a black chatpad. The wireless controllers end up being a pain in the ass and the battery pack on the back gets in the way of my fingers.

The bright green pad that launched the UK a couple weeks ago boasts "new d-pad technology", I personally haven't noticed a difference, but then I haven't played anything like Street Fighter with it yet.

As for this design, I hate it, and I don't really see the point. I would like to see black wireless headsets and chatpads at some point though.

The dragon controller is crap the controller should be all red and there should be two dragons on each side in black and that girly eye really ruins it.

Yours, too? I stopped by to buy one yesterday and they tried to charge me $59. I told them it was $49 online on THEIR site (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10568386) and they told me I could buy it online then. Ridiculous! I ended up not buying it, who knows whether or not I'll get it now. I wish Microsoft wasn't letting this be exclusive to a crap retailer...
